    The Vikings really are cursed. Everything was lining up perfect: New stadium bump, up and coming qb coming off a stellar year, unstoppable running back....and then Bridgewater ends his season..... Before the season....In Practice! God's a Packer Fan.

    Why does it cost UND over $2 million a year to rent a building that was built for them? With revenues probably close to or past 3/4 of a million per mens hockey game.

    Disappointing start to the season taking third out of fourth in their own tournament.

    #2 bid was a lot less than KVLYs bid. Guy that works for KVLY told me they regret how much they bid after hearing the others.

    Kennedy could have made any committee he wanted. He chose an already existing committee.

    It probably could only happen once. Probably be at or very close to the minimum number of sports a school has to offer. Oh boy then there will be no "savings account" like there is now by cutting sports....what would UND do? Increase student fees? Cut Scholarships? (Was it golf or baseball that had one or two scholarships?) Cut FCOA?

    As the president he asked for the committee. He decides who decides who's on that committee. Here's a crazy thought. The athletic department doesn't even need to make any cuts. It's just a front. They could transfer "institutional funds" like they have been doing for years.

    Chair of the committee asked about going back to division 2....this president Kennedy guy is making quite a name for himself in a small amount of time.

    What's next the American Flag will be banned at football games?!

    Maybe the Summit, still feeling slighted, told UND they need to "get better" and put more resources into their sports and they'll think about letting UND join.

    Protesting the "oppression of blacks" by a guy in a league making millions dominated by blacks in a country led by a black guy....Um. oohhhhkkk

    UND womens hockey has had games where they out drew the football team.

    Just sort of pointing out the logic and how right schlossman was about his article. If it wasn't for this sport (football), this sport (basketball) would be bigger. You'd be lying to yourself if you didnt think UND football would be way larger if UND didn't have hockey. (Just as NDSU basketball would be way larger if they didn't sponsor football). Interesting watching people's justifications. The National Championship for Womens Hockey is aired on CBS. Has a UND sport ever been televised nationally over the air?

    If whockey is holding back volleyball and basketball. Mhockey is holding back football and basketball.

    If women's soccer and diving had any sort of attendance they'd probably give out free tuition there too. If the gophers played at und in women's soccer there wouldn't be enough stands to support the people wanting to attend.

    I'm not sure what the budget is of the third most popular women's sport at UND. I hope it's very high being it's so popular at UND.

    At least it's a close (tie) game in the fourth. Makes for a more entertaining game.

    Two average field goal attempts one for each team missed badly. Not making FCS look the best. 0-0. In the 2nd.

    Sounds like a nice perk offered to be able to go.to women's hockey games if your in these certain UND clubs....those packages become less valuable when it replaces women's hockey with women's soccer. The entire community gets into women's soccer games for free. What's it average?

    Not true. ESPN is showing both games. Edit: notice it was already pointed out...game is about to start. Hawaii didn't win a game last year...wonder who'll win.
