Haha. I didn't say a word about the Gopher team. The guy that says he didn't care about them brought the team up. The teams don't play often but their fans are still on this website and if I want to engage them I will. Thanks.

No second guessing needed. We know if bubba calls timeout at 4 or 5 seconds. UND would have had a kickoff return attempt and likely something they have practiced before.

Richmond and UND each had one timeout left and the clock was running down from about 20...Richmond waited and called timeout at 3 seconds (enough not for a return kickoff). A heads up opposing coach calls timeout at 5 or 6 seconds left..the sweet spot where there is time left to get a return kickoff yet not enough time for Richmond to run two plays (the kick was converted on 3rd down). Outcoached.

I saw no action by Bubba to check the clock. Coaches job is to do everything he can to give his team the slightest chance to win at the end no matter how small that chance may be.

Watching the replay on espn 3 today. It looked like a second left was on the clock when the ball went through the uprights. Bubba conceded defeat pretty easily.

Although it looks official, and has a decent amount of followers for it, I don't believe it is.

Lower section? The best section in the Alerus outside the students. Just a guess. Your not in the lower part of 215 (few rows..5 or so...from the field) and part of the sections cheer leaders with Brad are you?

At home where it is usually pretty easy to regain momentum after those 5 yard brain fart penalties.

I noticed that too. Prior to the shift it looked like confusion on the defense. Then they shifted and really caught UND off guard and out manned in that area.

UND 3rd down conversions earlier 4-9. With three minutes left in the game commentators, mention UND was 1-6 on the last 7. And after that missed 3rd down conversion that could have kept the drive alive ran the clock down and kicked a UND game winning field goal. They had to give Richmond the ball back and the rest is history.

No doubt. It's was part of a a momentum builder and they build more on the back of UND not being able to do anything to stop it. And they were able to use it to outscore UND than when they had momentum. People saying it was the reason UND lost the game which I say .
