DB doesn't seem to want to talk to anyone....the only official thing so far he has said to the public is the original press release where he said he was disappointed about the media guidelines. So far avoiding any questions or interviews.
If the level of discourse was to name call on Twitter with McFeely, sure....having a discussion via email with an alumni is a different story...
...we don't know the level of discourse, but in general it's disrespectful to not even give a respectful reply with at least a "Thanks for your concern. The issue is being looked into. Please direct all future questions to...." to an alum and instead write an email telling people you don't want to respond.
Love him or hate him, but Rob seems to be the only one really doing the digging on some of these issues the newspapers are scared to touch. (Though he recently was hired by the Forum).
Bresciani said he "fully supports and agrees with the business decision."
But he would never allow himself "dip down to this level of discourse" by responding to an upset alum.
Will be respond to the media now that asks him about his flip flop or is that beneath him?
The end of the text were interesting...(IIRC) something like things have changed and they the ndsu president and ad then chatted on the phone. Wonder what happened. The ndus board president told him to get rid of the policy? I heard a few informal chats with legislators weren't happy about the policy and might have looked into doing something.
Maybe Brescani took the fall for someone else?
City council president on the radio admitting if the vote (above) passed in November, a year or two later the odds are pretty good that they would have extra funds that, with a vote, would go toward a new library.
It's my phone and tablet....also same issue Dakotadan had when he mentioned it on page 2 of "Forum Software Update."
He told me his workaround with the issue which I hadn't thought of....post the quote them immediately delete it which finally gets it out of the reply box.
B I u $ (hyperlink), quote, code box symbol, smilies, bullets, numbers, left middle right align, text color, text size, and a preview button is all that's on that toolbar.
The saving issue is happening on both tablet and phone...seems to work fine for a first quick edit. Wonder if I'm suppose to wait a minute or five to edit again?
Do you know where the source view is? I don't see it.
