Maybe Jones having his back against the wall is what he needed. But doesn't hurt this is one of his top couple teams talent wise.

I think winning the the regular season Big Sky Championship is sufficient.

Class B draw better in Fargo? Who would have thought that state hockey would leave GF, ten/fifteen years ago especially when GF had just got one of the nicest hockey facilities in the country. Scheels Arena (or whatever the new NDSU basketball arena is called) would make a nice class B basketball arena.

If you're great at reading between the lines like I am, thats basically what the Herald article stated.

I don't think Kennedy is going to make any decision. He said Faison cut a million plus from the athletic budget...and then he'll say "Sounds good. I'll be by your side when you tell everyone."

At least it'll be more interesting watching and having a reason to cheer for other teams now...

I'm not a fan of Fargo hosting the tournament seeing they host almost everything and me being a GF fanboy, but have to admit Scheels Arena is perfect arena for the high school hockey tournament and Fargo is the largest city by Far in North Dakota which means it'll basically always have very good attendance.

They're going to keep women's hockey despite the numbers because it's one of the most watched women's sports on campus.

We obviously know that's not true. Football Mens and women's hockey Mens and women's basketball Volleyball All safe.

Is this from the same guy that basically tried to write an article saying the move to the Summit/MVFC might be a financial wash.

The numbers say it should be cut, but the administration says it wont', stock on on medicine and energy drinks.
