Sounds like a lot of money but North Dakota has been spending that about every eight months recently.

I have to wonder. People knew the hockey program was going to be cut. It was no small secret to certain people....and then UND flies out a already committed recruit the same day and even has an odd hockey practice a few weeks after its season ended also on the same day...someone with sour grapes wanted to make UND look bad? "Quick take a picture of us and post it to twitter."

Will there be any money left over to "invest" with the cutting of these two sports? Or is it okay now we can pay our bills?

Save a program because it produces olympians? Nah.

Definately official bye bye women's hockey.

Shanks, McDermott, assistant coaches. They could have been on a tear if they were able to keep people in the program longer.

Who's going to take summer school this year?....need to know who the future early departures will be.

Can't believe they don't have two cameras on each blue line. If they can take away a goal because of it it's as bad as not having a camera pointing at the goal line.

I've yelled "Go Hawks" for Shts and giggles at a UND hockey games this year (during a quiet period in play) knowing I'd get a rise from someone and sure enough every time someone would yell "Go Sioux" at me. I think a unison "Go Hawks" chant at the Ralph is years away.

Could easily be back to back years, NCHC teams representing half the Frozen Four.

Dear UND, Next year please make an effort to not make it so easy for the other team to block so many of your shots.
