  1. I'll try to do you one better: Can you believe AZ and MN may switch roles from 2016.
  2. She seems nice.
  3. Physics.
  4. First, good to see Amb. Young still with us. Next, his statement has a bit of a hedge at the end I'd say.
  5. Today I made an appearance downtown I am an expert witness, because I say I am And I said, gentleman, and I use that word loosely I will testify for you I'm a gun for hire, I'm a saint, I'm a liar Because there are no facts, there is no truth Just a data to be manipulated I can get any result you like What's it worth to ya? -- Don Henley, "Garden of Allah"
  6. From earlier post: That says 61% of the deaths in ND are in nursing homes. Want more? From here: 476 deaths, and 293 of them are in the 80+ age category; again, 61%.
  7. I still ask how this (juvenile court, 14 year olds) wasn't sealed. That said, ... Berry owns this now. And that leash length is measured in angstroms.
  8. Ask the Dodgers how their Saturday night went when you declare victory before the game is over.
  9. ND DOH stats: Statewide total staffed beds: 1851 Percent staffed beds available: 13.94% (258) <-- that means 1593 (86.06%) are occupied. Hospitalized with Covid*: 256 Again, how does 86.06% occupied beds in ND in the fourth week of October compare to prior years. (And we have to do percentages because of the new ten-story monument to Denny in southwest Fargo coming online in 2019.) *meaning as primary reason or in for other reason but have virus
  10. No matter what happens, Berry owns the decision. He'll be (unnoticed) right or (spectacularly) wrong.
  11. Was he recruited pre-Covid? Did the coaches get some serious sit down and talk with him time?
  12. "Crush the curve" was to prevent overflow and space shortage in hospitals. Uh-huh. That worked.
  13. When UND makes it a pseudo-lottery, yes. Go get swab shoved into brain, get chance at prize, go back to house party and drink some "flu bug killer" 'cause there ain't no nothin' else to do.
  14. Who enforces quarantine? I'd say the pubs I drove past Saturday night were "quarantine centers" for the 20-40 crowd.
  15. I'd say the "Bucks Bochenski" leash was left behind by Blais for Berry. And I'd guess it's been shortened down to nothing (and the inside of the collar converted to razor wire).
  16. Where is "George" campaigning today? What I noticed is what the Brits dared say in the link: Jill whispered something to him. Based on that clip from yesterday Trump should start calling Jill Biden ... "Jeff Dunham".
  17. Don't you build hospitals like you build churches? You don't build a church for Christmas or Easter. You build so it's affordable through the year, and full at peak times.
  18. Is there data from prior years showing hospital occupancy during October or February? How do we compare to a "normal" year.
  19. Jason went to the Alyssa Milano School of Masks?
  20. The Craig Harris story mentions this occurred four years ago when Miller (today 18) was 14. The records must be from juvenile court. They are. From article: "Four years ago, Miller admitted in an Ohio juvenile court ... " I though juvenile records were sealed to give the chance to learn and be a better adult.
  21. Deaths in ND: Age 80+: 284 Age 70-70: 94 Age 60-69: 49 Age 50-59: 19 Age 40-49: 10 Age 0-39: 5 ____________ Age 80+: 284 Under 80: 177 https://www.health.nd.gov/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/north-dakota-coronavirus-cases Average lifespan in US: 78.54 years. Like I've said, this virus is a cherry-picker. It's getting the old (specifically those who've beat the mean) and folks with existing problems.
  22. Dr. Jill is the breadwinner I guess.
  23. It'd be me saying "tell me about hospitalizations and deaths". "Cases" amongst the 20-29 and 30-39 year old demographics are click-bait. In those two demos are 15000+ cases and ... 4 deaths. https://www.health.nd.gov/diseases-conditions/coronavirus/north-dakota-coronavirus-cases
