... < pondering ISU Blue >... Waidaminuteheah ... ISU Blue is no-go for football but the NCAA plans to play the majority of the hoopsy-bouncey tournament in ... Indiana? Indiana State thinks they'll be hot ... so we send in 68 basketball teams to Indiana to drag whatever back across the country?

AAARRGGHH!!! Instead of using the ITF as a testing center, they should've locked down the minimum number to play in a no-virus-zone and waited out the country!

Thanks all for reminding me to set my Midco DVR to record tonight's game so I can watch it on the plasma when I get home later. I'll show myself out ... -
Please expand your thoughts here.

As @jdub27 pointed out: Who wants to take on that contract extension he just signed. IND or PIT might, but only if their present guys retired. Who else?

If there is a significant shake-up, I wonder if the NCAA will look at minimum sport sponsorship levels. If budgets are not great around the NCAA, mandating 16 sports where 12-15 of them are red ink in most cases, makes no sense is and is harder and harder to justify in a world of tighter and tighter university budgets.

I've read that letter probably five times now and what's sticking with me is ... The Group of 5 (the second tier of FBS conferences: MAC, SunBelt) are not going to come out of this happy in reading that. They don't have the fiscal where-with-all of the Power 5. Frankly, many operate on budgets that look much like top half FCS schools. Thing is, if they were set in a position where their budgets better aligned to their competition they'd probably come out better off.

Nah, I figure WAS to complete the deal that he started when he trotted out Sudfeld.

Odds that Washington hires him?

I wasn't sure where to put this so I'll put it here. It might also fit under the NCAA Conferences topic, but its focus is UND so ... here it is. Enjoy. Discuss. PS - I highlighted what I believe are key passages.

If he wants to keep moving up in the Goalie Union he needs to stop putting those gaffs on tape. -

Post-game Bubs talked about a slow, show the rust, first period. I expected a rusty start. I'm glad it was fixed in first intermission. -

The closer to the ice the more people affected. No internet at the arena (to get the broadcast out) is about as close to the ice as you can get. -
If Krabbenhoff was still at Sanford (money) Augie'd get a look. Without, that MSP media market (St. Thomas) has to have strong pull.

Wow. King Henrik needs heart surgery and Craw retires. What an off-season.

Lots of links in the chain from the camera to your monitor, and lots of players. The problem could be anywhere from the building side to the sender to the receiver to the rebroadcasters to the final viewers. The closer the problem is to the actual game ice the more viewers it affects. (That's how you know). If everyone has same problem, it's close to the gamesite. If just one person has a problem, reboot your modem. -

That's cable. That's not the streaming app.

That'd be my guess. There are seven I'd play before him. -
Budgets are going to be tight going forward for everyone. The NCAA needs to re-evaluated minimum number of sports sponsorship requirements. Conferences will look at footprint and travel costs. That would lend me to believe ORU will look south again, and by default Augie will be evaluated.
