Cleaning up the central campus corridor (tearing down the eyesores) was bemoaned and belittled until folks saw how much better it could look. I enjoy the drive from University Park to 42nd Street now, and I really enjoy showing it to folks that haven't seen it in a while. Fewer, newer, efficient buildings and a better facilities budget to boot!

Acting president Schafer (the bridge from Kelley to Kennedy) deserves acknowledgement here. He left a great situation for Kennedy.

UND BB seems to be using the "Grizzly Adams hawk landing" gif when they know something they can't say. About the same time as Kaminsky's commitment tweet came this ... Danny must like a good cigar.

The running list of commitments (putting into alphabetical order now, not chronologic): Tyler Erkman Jerry Kaminski Jacob Lopau Braden Mohr Lance Rucker

Did I say "four"? I mean "five".

Um ... now four ... and kinda big.

Ovechkin played in a professional soccer game recently. (Highlight out on Twitter.) And of course he scored on a one-timer from the top left of the prime scoring area to the far post. Good to know Ovi’s Office translates from hockey to other sports.

They'd probably ask if you need a permit or already have plates to park in handicapped.

Go Hawks ... Horace Hawks that is.

Phil Hanson does openly question calls, but the master is and remains ... Tim Hennessy. "They called that. Really? < laughter > Alright, I guess. North Dakota going short on a terrible call ..."

There are iHeart Radio stations in GF, Bismarck, Minot, and Dickinson. iHeart will surely sell the rights to a Fargo market station. The best part of iHeart is their streaming app is solid. https://www.iheartmedia.com/stations?state=ND

This is a serious accusation. It belongs in the public courts. Actions can be taken to secure the accuser's anonymity yet have a public trial. The Title IX star chamber process is ripe for horrible abuse and is why The Fire exists. Not saying it happened here, but I'd rather have sunshine if we're making such accusations. If proven, I want a court of law finding following the guilty for the rest of their life.

Michaels/Hanson on the old 740 was called "dumb and dumber" by me.
-
Probably in the minority here, but driving and listening, I find Culhane paints a better picture of what's going on on the field. Michaels is too busy down conversational rabbit holes to point out formation and personnel and it drives me crazy.
-
Interesting, but is this anecdotal or a true statistical deviation proven by historical analysis.
-
It is a case study in everything that is wrong with campus "jurisprudence": It behaves more as a secretive star chamber than a body in pursuit of truth. And the lack of transparency compounds the problem. Campus should have a system for "< pronoun > hurt my feelings"; however, when there is a charge that fits in the traditional court system that's where the matter belongs.
