  1. How old will UND verbally committed forwards be on Oct 1, 2022? (forward list from here) Yrs-Mos-Days 20-04-28 Strinden 19-07-09 McLaughlin 19-02-28 Blake 18-12-20 James 18-06-24 Panzer 18-05-18 Singleton 18-04-19 Spicer 17-09-19 Perron 17-07-27 Slipec 17-05-23 Klee Highlight the post to magically make the names appear. For as long as I can remember, forwards come in at 19 for the good of everyone. The exceptions are ... exceptional.
  2. ... in scoring on a seventh place USHL team. He is 17. He was asked to play a full USHL season on a non-all-star team to allow for his complete development. He chose a different path.
  3. ... or you just read @Schlossmangf original tweet ...
  4. I've pondered Montgomery doing a "Quinn Fylling" and going back to the USHL for a season. Now find my portal forward* to come in as my insurance policy on Hain's injury. *I had dreams of Luke Sillinger; he had dreams of ASU coeds I guess. < shrug >
  5. Dude's got a thing for Olympic ice.
  6. Season Team GP G A Pts PIM +/- 2020-21 U.S. National Development Team 20 2 2 4 8 -8 2021-22 U.S. National Development Team 26 10 6 16 10 5 https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=238292 That's #12 on that team. That screaming "ready for the NCHC" to anyone? A year in the USHL (for a currently 17 year old) was a prudent request.
  7. If I get to answer: Budy finds a portal home (as does Calder). Bring in McLaughlin, Blake, James, and Strinden. Run with 16F this year because of the Hain's untested injury in game situations.
  8. OhMyGawd .... but he's #12 in scoring in the USHL! < relooks at notes > No, wait, that's #12 in scoring on his team. Call me when he's dominating the USHL. Harsh, but he's 17 and not top six on his current team.
  9. The kid is 17 years old right now. A year in the USHL is prudent for him physically.
  10. Correct. Birthday in June. He'd be a barely 18 freshman. A USHL year (and coming in age 19) would not harm him one bit. For comparison, Scott Morrow played this season at 19 and Rizzo played this season at 20.
  11. It's as far from GF to Murray, KY, as it is from GF to Cheney, WA, meaning EWU.
  12. Allow me to clarify: the MVC needed Murray. I'd be surprised if football assurances were not given when Murray jumped OVC --> MVC. The Dakotas are in a FB conference dominated by BB mindset.
  13. I'd call that list about a 2:1 hit to miss ratio (just looking at past, not current or future). If this group can hold that ratio ...
  14. Barstool's take on Hartman/Kane https://www.barstoolsports.com/blog/3413930/ryan-hartman-got-fined-by-the-league-for-flipping-off-evander-kane-immediately-receives-a-venmo-from-kanes-ex-wife
  15. Fine for what? For this. < words here about a woman scorned >
  16. Would like a word with you ...
  17. One word: Audit.
  18. None of the Dakotas needed Murray. The MVC wing of the MVFC needed Murray. Another case the author could've made is the MVC/MVFC could've let NDSU and SDSU swing in the wind. They did a solid for the 'SUs and expected similar in return.
  19. Poor kid has not one but two accountants (accountancy professors) for parents. Imagine allowance time for him! https://und.edu/directory/assion.lawsonbody https://und.edu/directory/laurence.lawsonbody
  20. May the Twins should trade Krilloff to the Wild for Kirill Kaprizov. Krilloff for Kirill-ov.
  21. Just being compared to Villanueva is lofty praise.
  22. Like I said, folks notice ... https://www.tribstar.com/sports/local_college_sports/isu_sports/todd-aaron-golden-would-it-have-killed-ndsu-to-do-the-mvc-schools-a-solid/article_37f6c977-de27-5068-950c-9313fc639c3d.html The other thing of note in the article: It took 8 of 11 votes for Murray to get in. Clearly the MVC folks (5), plus WIU has said they voted yes. I'd think YSU would vote with the MVC; there's seven. So at least one of the Dakota 4 voted yes. It wasn't NDSU; UND gave a "no comment" (a tell to me of a no*, but I could be wrong). The SD schools have always been BB-first minded. It would not surprise me to find they both voted with the MVC (BB) contingent. Any insights @Yote 53 ? * GF to Murray, KY (1100 miles) is the same as GF to Cheney WA (EWU, 1100 miles). UND just left the BSC to get rid of 1100 trips.
  23. You are SO missing some letters: Mastrosimone Ture Linden (F, RPI) hasn’t landed somewhere yet, and that surprises me.
