  1. I assume it went out for bid and someone new won. Now will they just get me a Grain Belt ...
  2. All correct, but there's another aspect. -> My septic system pumper (takes a CDL to drive the "honey wagon") pointed it out to me ... A CDL includes random drug testing. Medical or recreational (legal) marijuana fails you on the CDL drug test. Many folks don't get their CDL knowing their 'weekend habit' will fail them out in no time anyway. This is a hidden negative impact of legalization.
  3. Don't forget your medical card for that plate in your head. Me? No belt, no belt buckle, no detectors going off. If my drawers hit the deck and y'all go blind from it, it's on The Ralph.
  4. I would not bet against you.
  5. As soon as the 5 MVA transformers are built and installed at all the EV charge truck stops. "911, what's your emergency? ... Oh, yes Mr. Oxbow, we know you called 10 minutes ago and your house is on fire, but the new EV pumper truck needs another 3 hours on the charger before it can roll out to your location."
  6. Aaron Judge is 6'7" and 282. By comparison, Gronk, the freak NFL TE, is a mere 6'6" and 265. If Judge had any eye-hand coordination he'd hit home runs. But Judge has more than "any"; he has exceptional. He's leading the AL in BA (0.001 over MIN Arraez). He's leading the AL in HR. He's leading the AL in RBIs and Runs. He's <squint> this close to a triple crown if he can hold that BA.
  7. We are in a strange new world.
  8. Some a dem der meetabulls served by the lute-er-ins wid da loot-a-fisk can be perdy scary. Ya. Shur. Ya-becha.
  9. Missed it by 30 days ...
  10. This might be confusing to explain, but by my tracker we have pipeline names for all the 5s (e.g. Senden), 4s (e.g. Frisch), and 3s (Moore) on the roster. We've had that basically all summer. (The last 3 covered was by Boisvert's commitment.) So to be in that "all covered" position a year from now, all of todays 2s (next summers 3s) need pipeline names next to them. Who are those 2s names? D: Johnson, Bast F: Monty, Schmaltz, Costantini, Portz, Kunz G: Johnson, Hellsten We have one of them covered (at D with McInnis). That tells me between now and say September 2023 they're looking for a D, 5F, and 2G to be in the same "5s, 4s, 3s covered" position a year from now. Yes, that means they are already on the lookout for recruits to come in the fall of 2025.
  11. Well, in this spirit: August '22: Boisvert September '22: McInnis
  12. Did Schleusner learn enough under Stig before going to be OC at Idaho? Will Landry learn enough as OC at UST? Will Danny have the killer instinct missing since Lennon? Or when the day comes do you just go with a whole new regime.
  13. '05s? McInnis and Boisvert are 2006s. That's where the wars are now. There aren't many 2005s left on the lot, but we got Perron and Strathmann and Slipec and Klee.
  14. WIN ... or else, at Utah.
  15. Well, the Herald's one, two, and three all before Thanksgiving. Strength of schedule should not be an issue.
  16. The Herald's 1, 2, and 3 all before Thankgiving.
  17. OK, OK, you forced me into it. My predictions for lines you'll see on the ice: a red line 2 inches wide, between 10 and 15 feet from each end of the rink drawn completely across the width of the ice lines 12 inches in width and blue in color, drawn between 60 and 64 feet out from the goal lines, extending completely across the rink parallel with the goal lines a line 12 inches in width and red in color, drawn completely across and bisecting the rink, parallel with the goal lines
  18. One man's legendary is another's notorious.
  19. That's what I was suspecting.
  20. Ten years ago there were three guys that made sense: DeBoer, Leipold, Caruso. Two of them are where they seemed headed. The third seems happy where he is.
  21. Isn't there a meme picture you're supposed to use with that line?
  22. I don't see a 40 time in his Twitter bio ... if you don't note it I worry it's not noteworthy. Alternatively, he did attend NDSU's junior day and chose UND.
