  1. On Twit ,,, X they’re wearing standard practice targets like every practice.
  2. Allow me to both agree and disagree. The data -> second halves are problematic, indubitably. But they're in the game at half so how they were coached up to the game worked. Half time adjustments are the bugaboo.
  3. Credit hours is a big factor in the SBHE / NDUS funding formula.
  4. ACC + 3 could be by morning. https://sports.yahoo.com/sources-acc-presidents-to-meet-on-conference-expansion-on-monday-night-173527541.html
  5. Up in the first half and looking like we belonged on the same field, yes, I thought UND could win. Then the second half ...
  6. 7 Luke Skokna RB 5-9 180 Sr. Hinsdale, Ill. / Hinsdale Central 14 Donavan Hunt RB 5-11 190 So. Brookfield, Wis. / Jackson State 20 Sawyer Seidl RB 5-10 170 Fr. Hugo, Minn. / Hill-Murray 28 Gaven Ziebarth RB 6-0 205 So. Cambridge, Minn. / Cambridge-Isanti 29 Isaiah Smith RB 6-0 200 Jr. Minneapolis, Minn. / Benilde-St. Margaret's School 38 Grant Romfo RB 6-1 210 So. Calvin, N.D. / Langdon Area North Dakota State Is it me or does the RB room feel a little undermanned? And who's the short yardage need-a-yard power back (or is that a QB turned TE)? I notice they've put Grant Romfo back at RB (from WR).
  7. May I respectfully request 64 and 73 yard TD sprints by Isaiah Smith. A 7 carry, 151 yards, 2 TDs, half will do.
  8. Rather have him kicking PATs than FGs or nothing at all.
  9. Make hay when sun shines. Check.
  10. It's called a "huddle".
  11. Someone who wants to leave is leaving.
  12. Up two scores, at home. Up at the half. Same thing that happened at Nebraska: they let the game get away from them. Talent? Fatigue? Scheme? Nerves? Don't know what failed but it's that pattern.
  13. I predict September 18 (official fall enrollment census day for NDUS schools) will be a very interesting day. Yeah, ... way out on a limb with that one ...
  14. I'm guessing ACC adds the three this week for the "15" reason given. That'll force WasSU and OrSU to act. I seem them putting the MWC at 16. I just don't see the AAC being fiscally viable (travel costs) for WasSU/OrSU ... or are folks just waiting to watch Tulane against WasSU.
  15. SDSU seems like a momentum team. Give them any and they're not going to be caught. NDSU is an intimidation team. Know it; expect it; stand up to it.
  16. The team should go into Brookings with the mindset that they let one get away last season.
  17. I thought playoffs count in the four game exception. Like I said, finally, a room. Tommy started in a room with Grover, Ketteringham, and Zimmerman. This ain't that room ... thank goodness.
  18. They make it work in FB with AAA, AA, A, and 9.
  19. There's a reason you seldom see: - true freshman (18-19 year old) QBs - true freshman CBs/DBs - freshman centers (in hockey) before Christmas - freshman defensemen without an "old guy" beside them @Teeder11 explained why. When you do see one, they are the exceptional exception and not the rule.
  20. I see a QB room ... finally. Should the 2023 Walter Payton Award Watchlist starter have a problem both 3 and 6 look to be able to step in. Do not burn a year of 11.

Softball: https://fightinghawks.com/news/2023/8/25/general-north-dakota-athletics-announces-plans-groundbreaking-for-memorial-village-ii-on-campus-softball-stadium.aspx Might as well bring these back: https://www.grandforksgov.com/home/showpublisheddocument/47674/638191595078670000 https://forum.siouxsports.com/topic/6529-facilities-master-plan/page/96/#comment-1310445
  22. Won't fit in the space. There's not the extra 100 feet down the lines; things like buildings (MVII) and streets are there.
  23. I looked it up so I’m DQ’d from any “prizes”. https://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/leagues/seasons/teams/0070632014.html
  24. Ulmer can still run the hockey academy.
  25. Fact check: true
