  1. Which one?
  2. Is that an opinion ... or are you making the claim some made about third floor west wing?
  3. I've started a "Wake for Walsh" thread. I'll move stuff over. https://forum.siouxsports.com/topic/37396-the-wake-for-walsh-hall
  4. Now that Walsh is rubble, on the ground, it's time for the "Walsh Wake". Former residents, share your best stories and recollections. And always remember ... WALSH: Where All Ladies Seek Happiness PS - Like Walsh, it's BYOB.
  5. I did the math for one fall semester in the late 1980s: GFFD was at Walsh an average of every 32 hours from the day the hall opened in August to the day it closed for Christmas break. I knew most of the Columbia Road fire station guys by first name. Housing told me it was poor detectors and bad wiring to them. I think the dust/stank of the place was just as much an issue. Knowing how much was used as wall spackle, I wonder if the rubble smells like mint toothpaste.
  6. Maintenance and upgrades to the Alerus Center: $10 million
  7. $10M is less than two years of total football spending per this: https://knightnewhousedata.org/reports/7ca766dd
  8. He may well be a one-year player for a college program. And this situation seems very rare and very curious.
  9. Chance? Slim and none, ... and I just saw Slim ride out of town on his horse. The tribes will do nothing, let the clock run out, and then say the MN Legislature did it.
  10. I wouldn't. I'd pull Bubba, Mannausau, and a dollars/business mind together and have them figure it out.
  11. For perspective, it's about 1/3 the annual athletics operating budget. https://knightnewhousedata.org/reports/3865944f It'd buy two of the proposed Memorial Village II softball facility ($4.5M).
  12. Not calling out individuals ... then call out "departmental leadership" (implicitly Chaves or Carlson-Zink).
  13. Guessing SFA will be looking for a new assistant women's bowling coach ...
  14. Artyom Levshunov ... interesting, but we have eight. Not sure it works. And is he really looking at this late date for a 2023-24 team?
  15. You (quoting) said: "2. Much of the staff is lazy, clueless, disinterested, when it comes to UND football. They do just enough to get by, not enough to ascend the program."
  16. No, donation-wise, like @iramurphy I'm just President's Circle, not Adelphi like the Engelstad Trust. https://undalumni.org/giving-impact/donor-recognition/index.html
  17. Mentioning deflection ...
  18. And if that gift had gone to football I'd venture we'd hear nary a peep from you.
  19. So Paye is another raw, hasn't played much football, local? Isn't there a Shanley (or Davies) kid like that too?
  20. No, it's our job.
  21. You said "start by asking what are the discrepancies in staff size." There it is: 5 to 1.
  22. Well on that link is how you can host an event, like Gaukler or Poolman. Show us how it's done. (I was invited to Poolman's by ... UND. Gasp!)
  23. I'm sure these events put them on by themselves. https://undalumni.org/events/index.html
  24. Let's put names out there and see if you hold to that POV. I look at UNDAA&F development* staff and I see** former UND ... Football 2 (Mannausau, Belmore) MBB 1 (Brekke) WBB 1 (Sussex) Baseball 1 (Dodson coached) Hockey 1 (C Sanderson) Looks like 5 to 1 other sports to hockey, and two football guys. Give Mike or Tim a call and tell them they're clueless about UND Football. And remind them they aren't doing enough. Or are you saying Coltyn Sanderson is outworking five people***? *The money-askers **I may have missed someone ***In the corner for a puck I might believe it
