  1. Hey, we're old, but not old like PCM!
  2. Get Massen and Fabian back and now Kaip goes down.
  3. I'm saying get the 'staches out of 309 and 307-310 might, might, have a chance against 302 and 306.
  4. No contest: 302 and 306 win. All the Schneider fan trucker mustaches worn in 309 muffles the sound.
  5. Since someone invoked my name here (and I've been just waiting to post this somewhere, and up to now I thought it'd be in) "noise makers at the ralph" ... ? Aren't those supposed to be the students? Oh yeah, it's hard to cheer with a bloody blinkin' cell phone in your hand or worse, you don't even show up! It's pretty bad when the old coots in 302 and 306 are louder than 307-310.
  6. Did someone say "parking ramp"? I'd like to see it go somewhere north of the Memorial Union and south of REA (kind of like the story says, "behind Tabula coffee shop") and then connect it to both via skyways. Then again, what I'd like to see isn't what is most likely.
  7. I'm pretty sure it sits empty right now. They sold the boards and the ice making system. I'd heard of talk of putting in an indoor passing facility for football at one time. But I'd also heard that it might be cheaper to tear it down and start from scratch.
  8. I thought Crue was doing the casino circuit.
  9. There already is a replacement for tempo/rhythm of "U-S-A": "Let's go Sioux!"
  10. Wisthoff is a good choice. So is Hermes' speed. Roland's power will be missed too. Good cover guys are tough to find. Manke on the corner has to get some consideration. Then again, there's this guy named Bowenkamp ....
  11. If I heard correctly, South got "Ferris Bueller"-ed last night. Moorhead scored ni-i-i-i-ine times.
  12. I didn't think they used the right light filters on the camera. The ice seemed too white or too reflective on television.
  13. I believe your answer is in today's [url="http://www.in-forum.com/articles/index.cfm?id=79708
  14. For those of you with tickets, a singing guide. The game is on TSN but not American TV. Anyone know if any local radio station will be carrying the game (or will I be tuning the Bose toward CJOB 680 AM Winnipeg)?
  15. From that story: He crosses the center red line before the opening puck drop? Opening bid on that is two for unsportsmanlike and depending on how that goes the closing could (should?) be done by the team trainer (if you get my drift).
  16. Grand Forks? No, not that I've seen, but how about the Canadian press: From http://www.prairiesportslink.com/article.aspx?art_id=5973
  17. Forgive me, but I'd rate every American defenseman as no better than "average" as compared to the tournament pool at large. The Canadian defencemen (note the Canadian spelling) are all playing at least average and some are playing exceptionally well. The Russians are in a similar situation. That's how you win medals.
  18. Suter or Schremp will "balance the books" with Russian #8 some day. Mark it down. Of course you cheer for the "land of back bacon and tuks" if the USA isn't in it. It's a North American thing. The "hand to the ear" thing will be the new fad. OK Sioux fans, figure out a come-back.
  19. NCAA National Champions: 1959, 1963, 1980, 1982, 1987, 1997, 2000 NCAA National Runner-Up: 1958, 1968, 1979, 2001 NCAA National Semi-finalists (other Frozen Four, non-title game appearances): 1965, 1967, 1984 NCAA National Appearances (all): 1958, 1959, 1963, 1965, 1967, 1968, 1979, 1980, 1982, 1984, 1987, 1990, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004 WCHA Regular Season Champions: 1958, 1963*, 1965, 1967, 1979, 1980, 1982, 1987, 1997*, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2004 WCHA Tournament Champions: 1967*, 1968*, 1979*, 1980*, 1987, 1997, 2000 * co-champions, plus the WCHA tourney didn't play a final game until sometime in the 1980s.
  20. I think this, based on what the story says, goes here. [url=http://www.in-forum.com/articles/index.cfm?id=78423]Moreland
  21. I saw Rick James, and his "crew", do a cover of it one time. The Commodores were put to much shame.
