    An interesting data point would be "total career NCAA games" of the defense corps going into last season versus this season. Last years team would have a broader distribution (over eight guys) but the total (yes, over just four transfers) would be interesting.

    Seems OTT holds all the cards. Pinto is a 10.2(c) RFA. Pinto signed when he was 18-21 y/o and only has two qualifying years of experience. Might be good to make things like this known to future guys looking to sign early.

    I'd call it a self-inflicted wound. Worse? Done three times over (Bresciani, Bertolini, Cook). And giving a golden parachute to Bresciani just adds to the terrible look of the matter. Bresciani should walk away. He got what he really wanted: a sugar mama. You remember the one: the NDSU Foundation board member (conflict of interest?) whose email he used to avoid FOIA requests.

    Explore why most of the most valuable pro sports franchises are in the US (NFL, NBA, MLB, most of NHL) over all but the six mega clubs of Euro soccer. The value is knowing the club won't be dramatically devalued by one bad season (and relegation). US owners like it how it is. As far as competitive balance that's why draft order is based on performance.

    NDSU can't catch a break: - enrollment down again (down 290 this fall 2023) - now a discrimination allegation and another (female, vice provost) firing questioned by the faculty But regarding the firing of Bilen-Green ... was it with cause ... Dr. Cook has another mess (budgets, now this) to clean up and he's been there barely a year.
