Again ... Softball is not an NDHSAA sponsored sport, thus, you advocate immediate elimination of NDSU Softball.

Here's a real beauty out setting brush fires. http://www.indiancountry.com/content.cfm?id=1096417559 Now "Renegades" is an issue? And Savage Storm? And Zias? Moundbuilders .... I Googled "Zias" and found a bunch of Italian restaurants. A Renegade (per Princeton's definitions) is: someone who rebels and becomes an outlaw deserter: a disloyal person who betrays or deserts his cause or religion or political party or friend etc. rebel: break with established customs recreant: having deserted a cause or principle; "some provinces had proved recreant"; "renegade supporters of the usurper" I don't see anything race specific in that. So, look at what Myles Brand has created. Someone needs to tell Myles arson is a crime and he should stop facilitating it.

Easy confusion. From Schlossman's blog: He is from Saskatchewan, but played in the SIJHL (not the SJHL) so the above link is correct.

"Hence the cries" indeed ...

Committee. No committee. http://www.grandforksherald.com/articles/i...ection=homepage Which is it?

When's the last time one of your engineering graduates: - Was in space? - Had a fundamental theorem of digital sampling named for them? So now, as they say, "build a bridge".

"I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody." -- William Henry "Bill" Cosby, Jr., Ph.D. The fact. The context. The agenda. See ya later JQP. I'd love to say I'll miss you on the ND SBoHE but ...

Samuel Adams had the present day American political landscape perfectly described from 200 years ago. It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds. - Samuel Adams " ... an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds ... " He nailed it.

My lawn needs mowing. Go. I'll have the rest of your list by the time you finish.

Yes and yes, and there's not much else going on in the summer so it's a prime option. -
Brad Schlossman on hockey's popularity in Fargo

"Nobody cares about hockey." That's what the Bison crowd has told us all along. Whups. Hey Schlossman: How many UND Hockey season ticket holders drive from Fargo? More than 1500 (the number of season tickets for Bison MBB) would be really embarrassing. -
Has someone sent him a link to this thread?

Duncan with a "C" is a gimme. From there it's my opinions and biases: Jones. Then Finley. I'd stop there.

Some want to name a Virginia class nuclear submarine the "USS NORTH DAKOTA". http://dorgan.senate.gov/newsroom/record.cfm?id=297269 Don't they know that "Dakota" means "friend"? Why call a warship "friend"? And this will just make the Dakota the mascot of the crew of that boat. Where's Ron His Horse is Thunder to stop this injustice to his people? A warship. A sports team.

What would you call the reserve players on the team? Spare Change.

So he's a liar, a conniver, and a sneak. He's sly, devious, cunning, and not to be trusted. And all at age 15. They can have him.

A 15-year-old kid. He'll change his mind again tomorrow, but he'll be screwed 'cause he signed in the Q. You don't learn unless you make a mistake here and there. He'll learn from this.

So what's the discussion here: - they want to pick? - they want a say? - they want veto power? They want to be involved. That's all the notion someone else put forth also. When it comes to a new moniker I'm guessing it'll end up being the "Golden Rule."

Wichita and Palo Alto (Stanford) are within about 0.2 degrees of latitude (with Wichita being further north). Wichita is further south than the southernmost Big Te(leve)n school (Illinois: Urbana-Champaigne). Basically, if you're above the latitude of the Mason-Dixon line ... y'all ain't playin' for an NCAA baseball champ-een-ship.

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I have your attention please. The first folks to float the notion that the tribes should have "say" in selection of a potential new nickname were ... the tribes, through their United Tribes board. Heck, "if you think you might be getting a little power, try to grab all you can," seems to be their motto. And then complain when it really is given to you (like Ron His Horse is Thunder) seem to be their action plan.

A lot like hockey: Whip the hard rubber thingy at the guy in the wrong color jersey who's wearing the big pads and hope it goes into the net. OK, OK, real rules.

Continually, and recently. But I'm just one. If you're serious step up and send a message also.
