I assume you extend the way you see lust* to the "Gordon Gekko" type folks on Wall Street too. *most people see that word (lust) only in a sexual context, but at it's core it's an overmastering desire or craving for something

Very few uniforms say "Sioux" or have the Ben Brien logo on them anymore, or at least have one "look" without it. Football took the logo on front-center of the collar off a couple years ago.
-
I believe the plan (before any Legislative action) was to be "The Fighting Sioux" through 2011-2012 but wear non-logo/no "Sioux" word gear in any NCAA playoffs. Kelley got permission from the ND SBoHE to sell "Sioux" gear through this year as well.

Would you disagree with what he said if I removed two words ... "God put US in charge of this earth so WE are the ones who need to man up and lay down our lust." Are they taking full responsibility for their actions and outcomes? If only the answer were always "yes".

Misogyny? Hating on girls? (That's the definition.) From the sample you selected sure; but in full disclosure ... Rocco to the males of the species: "And don't blame the women for how they dress. ... Women are not an object for playing with. We blame the women for what they're wearing, ... WE are the men and WE are to blame." Seems he's "hating on" the boys too.
-
If Rocco was Muslim and said women should cover up ... he'd be untouchable, because you can't say anything about Muslims or their beliefs.
-
Genuflecting and last rites are Catholic acts. But I don't believe Rocco is Catholic. It's OK though, you can fire all the Catholic jokes my way. I'm tough. PS - I like what Rocco carries with him: "But the LORD said to Samuel: Do not judge from his appearance or from his lofty stature, because I have rejected him. God does not see as a mortal, who sees the appearance. The LORD looks into the heart." - 1 Samuel 16:7 PPS - Closed circuit to Rocco: The world is just waiting for opportunity to call you a hypocrit.
-
The St. Clair situation now has me better understanding why defenseman recruit Dan Senkbeil was centering a Dickin and Pattyn Saturday night. Actually, Senkbeil looked like he had a clue what he was doing out there at center.
-
Dear Rocco: You are right. There's no need for teenaged girls to be putting their "wares" out on display continually. And if anyone thinks Rocco doesn't know he's acting as a lightening rod, well, you've probably never heard of Tim Tebow either. If UND is associated with a lightening rod I'd rather it be Rocco than these imfamous lightening "rods".

OK, I can understand the demise of Fargo South. Half their team is now Fargo Davies. That's why neither is very good this year. But what happened to West Fargo? The former powerhouse is getting thrashed of late. And where did Grand Forks Red River come from all of a sudden? They are the 'beast of the east' this year. Very strange. Closing thought: Given that the top four in the AAA poll are Bismarck, Bismarck Century, Mandan, and Minot, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the AAA champion this year will come from the west.

That's what gets me: NDSU fans forget that, or just assume only NDSU can make a turn like that.

If anyone could get their application for a village idiot job turned down, it'd be him.

Whatever happened to the days where when a kid gave a public verbal the other coaches backed off as a courtesy not only to the other coach but to the kid as well?

Bounce ... And yes, I almost expect SCSU to follow the UNO model.

Why would Sabin want to go back the amateur ranks?
-
I thought PCM wore an onion on his belt.
-
That a boy, Bohl. Good for you Kolpack. Keep telling the voters (coaches in this case) they are too stupid to know the difference between UND and NDSU. That should win you lots of votes.
-
The bold is all you have to say.
-
As I asked before: Would Minnesota be ranked in the FCS top 25?
-
In football, I know who UND plays next. It was mentioned all weekend with the UND score (and how SUU took down UNLV). I literally have no idea who NDSU plays next. None. The media is infatuated with Saturday's result and not mentioning a next opponent. I wonder if NDSU will get sucked in by that. Never forget the most important rule of coaching: the most important game is ... the next one. PS - I just looked on-line. Illinois State. And it's NDSU Homecoming.
-
A team can't function wondering constantly about the health and availability of their coach. If Kill can't resolve these issues, well, honestly, Craig Bohl has submitted a pretty good resume.
-
Did they upgrade the internal broadcast capabilities for HD? Or did they at least include the ability to have a penalty clock on the TV broadcast screen?
-
Dear UND Football, You're going back for a second shot at Fresno State this week, ... You're going back for a second shot at Fresno State this week, ... You're going back for a second shot at Fresno State this week, ... You're going back for a second shot at Fresno State this week, ... </ Jedi mind trick>

First, whom do I thank, NDSU or Minnesota, for me not even needing the 10.5 points? Second, would Minnesota be in the top 25 in FCS? Seriously. The NDSU TD to make it 21-14, UMn couldn't defend that. If NDSU runs that same play against the top 25 in FCS there'll at least be three defenders out there to stop it. It's like Minnesota had no clue (or was it no skill). The upset yesterday would've been a Minnesota win.
