  1. Are you sure? What are the age of consent and corruption of a minor laws in PA ... http://en.wikipedia....ca#Pennsylvania
  2. And this is the lawyer Sandusky chooses? http://www.thedaily.com/page/2011/11/14/111511-news-sandusky-lawyer-teen-web/
  3. Don't use the Great Seal, use the UND school seal (which is based on but is not the Great Seal). I'm thinking using "Red Tomahawk" (the guy on the NDHP doors) on the jerseys wouldn't pass muster with the NCAA.
  4. I heard the NBC "Rock Center" interview with Costas last night. Just when you thought Sandusky couldn't get any creepier ... I'm not sure who I felt more sorry for: Costas for having to ask such questions, or the guy's attorney having to sit there and listen to the interview and then defend Sandusky. Wait ... I never feel sorry for lawyers. (Sorry Scott. )
  5. I wonder if we could integrate the official seal of UND onto a shoulder patch the way "Hah-vid" does on their jerseys. Observant ones will know why I'm smirking. PS - It's based on this: http://www.nd.gov/co...id=Great%20Seal
  6. Here's what bothers me: Do what you will in the privacy of your own home. But by doing this in a common spaces facility like a frat house you're putting your neighbors ("brothers") at risk (exposure or legal) when they may not choose to engage in the behavior. A lot of jobs require a pee-test: Can you imagine throwing a positive because your neighbor lit up and exposed you?
  7. Masterfully played wordsmanship. Bravo.
  8. http://www.collegehockeynews.com/schedules/scoreboard.php
  9. But Gophers and Badgers both fall under the broad headings of "vermin" and "varmints".
  10. {puts on moderator hat} I'm tired of seeing copy/paste of posts from other forums. It stops. Now. Why? http://forum.siouxsp...tion=boardrules No copyright violations. Do not reproduce entire articles, forum posts, or other content you do not own. {takes off moderaor hat} Repeating lunacy makes you a lunatic as well.
  11. Says you.
  12. I figured he'd use a court appointed attorney because his history says he only does the minimum necessary when it comes to legalities.
  13. And if this really is found to be looped into this whole mess ... Tough as nails DA never charged Sandusky: http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local/133615093.html And then is found dead: http://www.aolnews.com/2011/01/25/case-of-missing-pa-district-attorney-ray-gricar-baffles-police/
  14. I think we may find the answer to this question very undigestable. From my previous link:
  15. Same story, different (direct) source: http://www.nesn.com/2011/11/jerry-sandusky-rumored-to-have-been-pimping-out-young-boys-to-rich-donors-says-mark-madden.html If this is true they'll be building the "Jerry Sandusky Penn State" wing onto Hell for all these people.
  16. Won't happen. Too much money involved, unless they can get Notre Dame to join immediately and stay at 12 teams.
  17. Penn State Hockey: We're not the guys who rape ten-year-old boys, but they're next door.
  18. Nope. You understand it. Or not.
  19. Academic, financial, or recruitment violations are in the NCAA rules book. The NCAA rule book doesn't cover state felonies like raping minors. However, the board that governs PSU is in full "CYA" mode with letting Paterno and the school president go and I'm sure that's an attempt at a public show that they do retain "institutional control". What PSU should be afraid of from the NCAA is a "review" (spelled: inquisition) of all of their athletic operations under the premise that if they could cover up the Sandusky problem for 20 years what else have they been able to cover up?
  20. Back in 1999, when the obvious heir apparent to Joe Paterno, is told he won't be the next head football coach at PSU, why didn't folks start digging into ... "Why?"
  21. Here are their short-term logo/identifier options (obviously minus one word and a head wearing feathers): http://und.edu/university-relations/branding/_files/docs/licensing-guidelines.pdf
  22. You're probably in the minority on that one.
  23. This year's power play reminds me of the days when I'd hear some folks chant "Decline it!" when UND would get a power play a few years ago.
  24. This isn't an NCAA issue. This is a pattern of felonies and a conspiracy to cover up the felonies. The Pennsylvania Attorney General* should start showing up with cops and 'cuffs and start the perp-walks. *Linda L. Kelly is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and the Duquesne University School of Law. ... The Penn AG is a Pitt Panther, not a PSU? Why'd I just smirk an evil little smirk?
