In my opinion, I think part of the reason is fair weather fans drifting to FU. Its unfortunate of that because Bubba is doing a great job with the football program this year, and I am excited to purchase season tickets next year.

I agree. 6-6 is a more of a realistic 2014 season record - which is a good improvement from the previous year. I hope Bubba keeps it up and draws more fans to the Alerus. We need to sell out and become the 12th man in that place with noise!

Good job to UND football. Period. We played an outstanding game, especially on defense and this just proves why UND is one of the top rated defenses in the Big Sky.

This. Teams you wouldn't expect to make it this far into the post season have this supposed high flying skilled team that outplays us every time. Again, comes back to coaches and recruiting and I am guessing it won't change anytime soon if our coaching staff isn't restructured.

I'm sorry but now he should be taking a long hard look at how he approaches the post-season? He should have done this 5 seasons ago.

I won't disrespect fans for backing Hakstol, but at some point you have to wonder what will it take to finally reach our goal. Year after year it's the same story with our team: "We ran into a hot goalie," "We were outplayed," "We were out coached," or "The other team was faster." Not sure if our fan base hasn't realized the constant excuses we make, but it all comes down to coaching, IMO. Whether Hak needs to go or not, some coaching restructuring needs to be done after another disappointing post season.

So does the team touch any potential trophies next season? Looks like it wasn't the touch of the trophy after all.

I wanted to know from people that have a little experience taking cabs in Minneapolis. We have booked a hotel in Bloomington and possibly plan on taking the tram to downtown Minneapolis. From there, we would get a cab to the Xcel to avoid parking/traffic. Has anyone done this before to games at the Xcel? If so, how much did it cost from the tram station in downtown Minneapolis to the Xcel by getting a cab? Thanks

I have been a Sioux Hockey fan since I was little. I used to go to games in the old arena when I was in the Sioux Kids Club. I am now a 23 year old student who just graduated from UND. I go to all of the homes games. I get my season tickets through a member of the Fighting Sioux Club, who unfortunately was denied tickets after having 4 season tickets since the Ralph opened.
