This is touching on something that I've wondered about: Of late, UND looks smaller than many opponents. Maybe it's the black uniforms. Maybe it's the Hardin factor. He's not big (neither is McGill). Maybe it's TV. But to my eyes UND's legs, and many of the players in general, are smaller than the opposition.

You're stretching. The article says the moped may be owned by a Gopher coach. We don't know who owns it for sure (and can't say it was bought for a player). However, we can ask who owns said moped and if GG had authority to operate it, and if that allowance is a violation if it's an inappropriate benefit to a student athlete.

Don't ever criticize Faison for strong and proper reaction to a bad situation. What's that? Get out in front of it, because then you can set the message (aka "spin") as best you can. That is something some folks at NDSU would do well to understand and start to practice. It's better and easier than reacting to the next "find" by a cub reporter looking in the City of Fargo/Cass County/State of ND law enforcement blotters.

That much I wholly agree with. I reserve comment on the rest of that post.

It's Ward County, heart of the Bakken. The DAs out there need to protect the cops. How can they do that? Send a clear message: touch a cop, face the maximum possible charge. The DA has now given himself a lot of negotiating room also. It sounds really harsh, but it's the right tactic from the DA's office. Signed, Jack McCoy

BES of GFH is tweeting that Guertler is suspended indefinitely.

Probably ask Craig Bohl for advice.

Apparently they've never heard the joke about how mopeds are like "larger" girls.

EWU takes out #25 Oregon State. That doesn't negate NDSU's win (tip of cap to 'SU), but they may not be the story of the weekend anymore. Seems the top of FCS, for a game, should be able to handle an FBS school. For a game. I don't believe an FCS school has the depth to play a full schedule of FBS teams, especially those from power conferences. For UND? Get to the top of FCS. For NDSU? They scheduled a month to recover. That's part of this run: smart scheduling. Final thought: may the biggest of the big be talking about their own division and playing insular schedules to prevent these types of losses in the future?

If you are serious you need to have that myopia checked.

Thought Bisonville.com was about NDSU(AAS) but there are a ton of UND threads there.

Yours, needing to attempt to defend what is indefensible, is showing.

What is so bad about plus four and getting the first hit jitters out of the way? That is not a downer. It is a good thing.

I'm bummed that there's no Midco HD tonight, just for the rest of the season. http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=209202961

Shot-gun, four wide (three to the wide side right) and a back to the right of Bartels. Bobbled snap. Picked up by Bartels, scramble over left guard, fall forward. Second and six.

It's the name. How do I know? Look at the thesis document cover pages from the NDSUAAS website: http://www.ndsu.edu/search/?q=%22agriculture+and+applied+sciences%22&x=0&y=0

The most common roster shape in both the Blais and Hakstol eras is three goalies, eight defenseman, and fifteen forwards, for a total of twenty-six. With the departure of "Jim", guess what the roster shape is.

Too bad NDSU doesn't compete in the women's sport where UND sends players to the Olympics (for more than one country). I guess we shan't bring that up. #buttWhockey

I'd say Mollberg is in a pretty good position. Everyone knows he's going to get playing time, but he doesn't get the monstrous scrutiny of a freshman starter. I'll say right now that someone will play themselves into the starting role for Game 2.
