2017-2018 Recruiting

Recommended Posts

DeSean Allen-Eikens (@DeseanEikens) picks up an offer from North Dakota. DeSean plays with Williston HS (ND) and North Dakota Phenom

A very talented 6'5" wing, 2nd team frosh All-American.  He is going to the Pangos All-West camp in July in CA.  There is no chance he will be "under the radar" - it would be great to land him but quite unlikely!  We were his first offer.

Big time talent. Nice job by the staff being first to offer. NDSU probably won't be far behind. Might be the first time ND basketball has had 3 kids Sem & Meidinger (NDSU) and DeSean (UND) with D1 offers at the same time before any of them play their jr year of basketball. Moody from Dickinson and Carr from Hazen (2017) might be there by their SR year too.

I read in the Bismarck Tribune that DeSean Eikens is transferring to Wasatch Academy, a private school in Utah, next year.

Youth is served on Class A all-state team

It appears Wasatch has three boys teams.  One that plays independently and against teams around the country and two that play in the Utah high school league.  Wonder if he will play with the independent team?

If he doesn't play with the independent team then what's the point?

I assume we are recruiting Cortez Seales' younger brother, Corvon.  He is a talented a 6'2", G who will be a junior this year at North Scott.
