Just wanted to let you know I called and talked to Troy about the confrontation with the refs to let him know that it's NOT OK for coaches to hit people. And as far as "turning kids loose" when being down a few goals - I also let him know that was not cool. It went down like this: we were talking and wrapped up our conversation and as I was hanging up - I threw in another shot. I thought I had already hung up -but he heard it and called me on it (damn - he's got better hearing than Hakstol!). I just told him I was "dissapointed" . If he's solid in his own end, limits or eliminates opponent scoring chances, and can move the puck (either carry or pass) it out of his own zone then that's all you need from your D. I was surprised about that, because it's never been full in the past that I can recall. Thanks NDH, I really enjoyed watching the game with you. Especially the "Ole" song after the Sioux scored. Although either way, it will be fun watching Miami and Michigan fail to advance past the regionals again this year.
