Prpichrocks_19 Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Well I know it doensn't really matter who scores as along as someone gets the job done, but I think it would be really cool if someone who doensn't score a lot to score when it really counts. I would have to say Fabian or Kaip would be my top choices. Oh yeah can't forget Radke!! Quote
squirtcoach Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Oh, I thought you were talking about fans going to St. Louis. Never mind. Quote
ScottM Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Every frickin' player wearing a Sioux jersey, including the goalies. And me, after hours ... Quote

ScottM Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Going to East St. Louis, eh? Nope. Stayin' Downtown. Quote
siouxhockey5 Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 My personal opinion is i would like to see Vandy score, maybe Kozek, and also, Martens, if he plays, i am kind of sick of Radke and his penalities, you cant do that in the playoffs. Siouxhockey5 Quote

franchise Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Duncan with a hat trick in both wins. If he wins, the Hobey, it shows why. If he doesn't, it says he should have. Quote
THETRIOUXPER Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Aside from the obvious answers likes Toews and Oshie... how about Scott Foyt? He's been a good teammate in spite of having seen very little ice time in his four years at UND, and has yet to score a goal. Would be cool to see him get one in the Frozen Four, although he's obviously one of the most unlikely candidates. I believe Foyt does in fact have a goal. Correct me if I'm wrong, and I think it was discussed before on here, but didn't he get one at the Dartmouth tourney or something? I think Foyt took a blast from the point and TJ was down in front of the net and may or may not have tipped it, when asked by the official TJ said it was Foyt's. I thought it went down something like that. Not sure if all the details are correct. Quote

Scott got it off the boards to and Ryan Martens knocked it in. That one didn't sound like he should have had the goal, but that does sound familar. I will keep looking later. Quote
Fighting Sioux 23 Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I'd like to see the following players notch one (or more) goals in the Frozen Four: Oshie Duncan Toews Bina Porter Chorney Fabian Miller VandeVelde Quote
RedFrog Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I want to see Porter notch the empty netter to clinch #8 on Saturday night. Quote
PCM Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I would like to see Darcy Zajac, Chris VandeVelde and Chay Genoway score a ton of goals in St. Louis. Okay, that's unrealistic. Two goals each would be fine. Quote
THETRIOUXPER Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I'll say #10 Andrew Kozek, so what if he's on the "checking line," no better time than now to fire the cannon. Quote
nodak hockey fanatic Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Foyt's goal was against St. Lawrence, he also notched an assist that game for two of his three points this season. I would like to see him dressed this weekend, I agree we can't afford any more Radke brain lapses. Quote
Siouxmama Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I'd like to see Kozek with a goal, too. Nothing is more fun than a happy Papa Kozek! Come on Andrew, put on in for your Mum and Dad. Quote

Kozek's folks are very nice. His dad is quite a character. One night after Andrew scored a goal, I saw his dad in the concourse and congratulated him. He said "thanks, I guess any day is a good day to score a goal, eh." I had to agree with him. Quote

He is a great guy. He and my 6 year old son get along great. They play around in the corridors like a ... a couple of 6 year olds! And he is right. Any day is a good day when your a scoring goals. LB#11 Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 I want to see Porter notch the empty netter to clinch #8 on Saturday night. Like Commodore did for #7 back in 2000. Quote
dagies Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Like Commodore did for #7 back in 2000. I was thinking that was Goren. Quote

PCM Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Commodore scored the first goal in the 2000 title game. No fair looking things up! Quote
Sioux-per Villain Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 We are 11-0-0 when Darcy Zajac or Erik Fabian scores. I think we all know who we want to score. Quote
