fargosioux Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 5 of the 9 ESPN College Hockey Experts (talk about an oxymoron) pick North Dakota to win the West Regional. 3 of them pick the Sioux to win it all. ESPN Frozen Four Predictions Quote
franchise Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Didn't the Huskies destroy Clarkson and Bobby even sat one game? Quote
Stromer Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Didn't the Huskies destroy Clarkson and Bobby even sat one game? 2 hippos on skates could defeat Clarkson. Quote
sagard Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I'm a little surprised Michigan got no love at all out west. Five picking Sioux, four Gophers. Quote
jimdahl Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Why does INCH hate the Sioux? ESPN 2/2 pick the Sioux INCH 3/7 pick the Sioux Quote
keikla Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I'm a little surprised Michigan got no love at all out west. Five picking Sioux, four Gophers. I have no doubt that Michigan is using all this as motivation for the "underdog" component. Quote
Trunk Monkey Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I have no doubt that Michigan is using all this as motivation for the "underdog" component. Yep you are right - these predictions mean about as much as the polls each week. Quote
PCM Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 ND vs. ND for the Frozen Four championship would be the ideal matchup. It'd be the Fighting Logos against the Fighting Leprechauns. Myles Brand would have to spend nearly two weeks explaining why the NCAA's policy applies to North Dakota and not Notre Dame. Quote

Then I would love to see the Sioux light up Brown in the final. Quote
Goon Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 Why does INCH hate the Sioux? ESPN 2/2 pick the Sioux INCH 3/7 pick the Sioux East Coast Bias. They love the Gophers? Uninformed. Quote

PCM Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 That dream scenario would end in a Fighting Sioux victory. To go with the Fighting Sioux women's basketball team national championship. Quote
Goon Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 To go with the Fighting Sioux women's basketball team national championship. They are going to be having kittens at the NCAA. Quote
franchise Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Filling out my bracket for a pool right now. What are your predictions? I'm thinking first rd goes to MN, UND, BC, UNH, Clarkson, SCSU, BU and ND 2nd rd wins for UND, BC, SCSU, ND Semi's to UND and SCSU With of course UND winning. That of course would all change if I go with Clarkson to the F4. Tough when you don't see a lot of east coast hockey. Quote
siouxguyinstpaul Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I have no doubt that Michigan is using all this as motivation for the "underdog" component. it worked for Minny - even playing at "home" they were the underdog - according to Donny anyway. Quote
Goon Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 it worked for Minny - even playing at "home" they were the underdog - according to Donny anyway. I think this years game at the Xcel Energy was more of a home game than the Goofer playing in the John. It probably won't be as pro Goofer this weekend in Denver. Quote

Yeah, and then the Pontiac commercial would come on as the official !@#!$ car of the NCAA. Maybe the Irish could get sponsored by Baileys or Lucky Charms.... Quote

Goon Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I don't care who we play I am sick and tired of being the Bridesmaid. I would like to see number 8 this season. Quote
PCM Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 I don't care who we play I am sick and tired of being the Bridesmaid. Believe me, we're all sick and tired of seeing you in that dress. Quote
Goon Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Believe me, we're all sick and tired of seeing you in that dress. Look it was hard enough for me to pose in a Goofer Jersey, I can't imagine posing in a dress. Quote
mikejm Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Um, I don't know Goon. I kinda like the way that dress accentuates your legs. You've got really nice calves. And don't get me started about those toes.......... Quote
