Honestly I could have seen you guys having UMD as a rival team, you guys usually have some heated games with them, not? I would have seen SCSU getting Mankato. Who knows. I think the only reason the Gophers got Wisconsin as their rival is because of the football rivalry more then anything. Would much rather have you guys as a rival so we could roadtrip up to the Forks every year, Grand Forks is turning into one of my favorite roadtrips......not that theres such thing as a bad roadtrip. You know, if I had a nickel for every fan I run into (no matter what the school affiliation) who says "I can't believe we're not Minnesota's biggest rival," I'd be a rich man. St Cloud grumbles about it, so does Mankato. UND does, and even UMD does. But unless you are familiar with the basketball, football, and hockey atmosphere, there's certainly no denying that Minnesota and Wisconsin absolutely loathe and detest each other and deserve to play each other four times every year.
