AZSIOUX Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 As i posted in the former players thread, here are the former sioux in the playoffs...i have no favorite team in the playoffs so GO DEVILS............. 206 NHL PLAYOFFS edmonton, matt greene (was a healthy scracth tonight in 1st game) nashville, greg johnson new jersey, zach parise and david hale (not sure if hale will crack the lineup) carolina, mike commodore devils about to face off hale did not make the lineup today... AZSIOUX Posted April 22, 2006 Author Posted April 22, 2006 Is the Devils game on TV? both games are on NBC right now but depending on where you live is what game will be shown Quote
Go Sioux! Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Yeah I am watching the Colorado and Dallas game. I would rather watch the Devils game, but it doesn't matter as long as it's hockey. Quote
ATLSiouxPhan Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I'm watching Devils game. Parise skating with Gomez and Gionta....Have not seen Hale.....It would be great to see these guys get far into the playoffs: Parise Langenbrunner Martin Hale Rasmussen Devils up 1-0 so far......Langenbrunner on point for Devils powerplay. Smoggy Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Did I miss it, or did NBC not even show any highlights from the Devils game? Quote
ATLSiouxPhan Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Devils down to 5 d-men in second period. I heard Hale was in warm-ups. Can he be put on bench for 3rd period? Devils just scored. 3-1. Parise called for hooking. Quote
sprig Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Devils down to 5 d-men in second period. I heard Hale was in warm-ups. Can he be put on bench for 3rd period? No, he can't, was not written into the lineup card. Even if White returns for game 2, got to think Lamoriello will write in 7 dmen rather than the 6 today. Quote
ATLSiouxPhan Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 5-1. Game out of hand. Hits and fights since game is over. Madden took a run at Jagr, missed him, clobbered his own guy Martin. I love it. Quote

I wish I was watching but since the nbc is stupid and showing me the colorado vs. dallas game. I guess i have to be happy that it is still hockey. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted April 23, 2006 Author Posted April 23, 2006 I was able to channel surf between games as Center Ice aired the NY/NJ game for me and blacked out the Dallas/Colorado game which I was able to see on channel 11. I highly recommend Center Ice!!! It's worth every penny. yes it is, i picked up the stanley cup playoffs for 49.99 but it also included the mlb extra innings package as well for that price until the nhl is over. pretty good deal! ATLSiouxPhan Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 Andy Murray is announcing the Flames/Ducks game. (TSN subbed out to OLN) Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 According to the Herald TV listings today, we can watch Parise on OLN at 6. GO DEVS! Quote
AZSIOUX Posted April 24, 2006 Author Posted April 24, 2006 looks like david hale should be in the lineup tonight!! sweet to see him and zach..go devils!! http://www.nhl.com/scores/htmlreports/20052006/ES030132.HTM Quote
mwade Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 is david hale not playing again? He's out on the ice now Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 He's out on the ice now ok, thank you. i was hoping he was. Quote
ATLSiouxPhan Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Parise had a breakaway tonight but was taken down from behind.......Madden was white hot (another great college guy to cheer for on Devils, even though from CCHA) Quote
farce poobah Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Devils looking really good right now. Hale getting some decent time, as did Zach. After Madden got his hat trick, some dude threw his hairpiece (toupee) onto the ice. Plus there were a couple hundred hats. Good crowd, by the sounds of it on OLN. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 Commodore interviewed after the 1st OT in Carolina/Montreal game tonight. Good interview for Mike. He's not sporting the same hair-do as he was back in Calgary for the playoffs. Quote

I would have thought that he would have wanted to warm it up first unless they got it before it got too cold. Quote
SiouxPride0303 Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 The Habs announcers have said several times how Commodore cut off all his hair after the playoffs in Calgary for cancer charity. Canadiens win 6-5 in 2 OT Quote
