southpaw Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 zajac scores on the pp... picks it out of the air under review right now, but should be good. Quote
Snake Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Isn't the over-the-net camera angle the only one the refs can use for an official review? I doubt they could determine a high stick from that angle. It's good. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Zajac is coming up huge in this series! He has the hands to be a great scorer so I hope to see more from here on in. Quote
Siouxman Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 SIEVE! SIEVE! SIEVE! Coming through loud and clear on the radio. Quote
Siouxper 7 Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 They disable the "context menu" which is kinda like the cable company sending you 5 of 50 channels and saying "live with it." I don't know of any way to override it at this point. Better than nothin... go SIOUX! Thanks for the help everyone. It's not too bad the way it is so I'll just live with it. Quote

Sioux_Hab-it Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Oshie draws another Mav Penalty on Peto by going hard to the net. There is a trend here. Quote
brianvf Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 I think you are correct. We got a goal disallowed because of this against the goofies. As did UMD last night against DU...they looked to have scored the tying goal with 7sec left in game, but it was disallowed. Quote
HockeyMom Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Woohoo.....Oshie draws a hooking penalty. DU and UMD tied at 0 at the 14 min mark of the first. Quote

It's good. In the DU v. UMD game, they use the FOX-RM video to rule a high stick on Stapleton (I think it was Stapleton... I was drunk!). Therefore, I think they "have" to use the goal cam, but can use any angle available to them to make the call. Quote

I was under the impression that they could ONLY use the goal cam because some venues don't have TV broadcasts. That's why they couldn't overturn a no goal for us earlier in the year, because it couldn't be over turned by just the goal cam. Quote

7>4 Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Tigers - Huskies. 0-0 with about 12 min left in first. Quote

Then again, this is the WCHA and the refs can just "...make $hit up as they go." Quote
