If this was my kid the ASU would be paying in the 7 figures and I’d sue the AD the entire coaching staff.

They were untrusted with the kids safety and failed.

Yeah, this isnt an area we want to step into. In a very very disgusting way I know a UND fan that went online and did exactly that. It was vile and disgusting. That sshat of a person suffered physical consequences because of it, and was literally dragged back to the  computer in the library of his high school and forced to apologize.

Never spoke with him again unless I had to and to this day I can only remember his whimpering tears of forced remorse. 

But there were a few others who dud the same. Not the fan bases finest looks, but as with anything those types are always there, thankfully in very few numbers.

Would imagine that other teams are actively circling the ASU program like vultures, looking to pick up any worthwhile scraps. 

A player can enter the portal at anytime if his coach is fired or otherwise leaves, but am guessing that a guy like Woo can't transfer to another school for the 26-27 season as the fall rosters are already set.

On the two deployments I did, the Navy gave us Camelbacks when we were in the Gulf (where it’s 120 in the shade). I’d be in the hanger bays and you’d see the squadron guys down to t-shirts and pants working on jets. Since it was hot in the Gulf or Western Pacific the command allowed it.

In a eerily similar situation.. after Basic training in South Carolina I went in basically the best shape of my life went to Arizona for AIT and the 2nd day a huge FTX and did a obstacle course contest in front of the base commander.

I was in zero way acclimated, didnt understand the ammount of water they where trying to get us to take in, tore through the training, won the "competition" got a coin and took about a dozen crooked steps before everything went red...

Woke up in a pool of everyone's canteens... and a DI grinning at me and laughing about not getting to use the silver bullet...

A trip to post ER and and after that I didnt ever not respect the Drink WaaaTER! breaks

The heats no joke without acclimating, and I have never been able to handle heat ever since that day.

Thankfully it turned out not as bad as it could have, but to hear this team event didnt have the resources available is disgusting.

As anyone in the military will say “the SOP’s are written in blood for a reason.”

This whole thing could have been a trip to the hospital get checked out, lesson learned.

Regardless of the outcome, this will set ASU back. A lot.

Yeah, if you are a potential/committed recruit you may think twice about playing hockey there...especially if the coaching staff remains the same.
