Maybe-just maybe- they need to tweak the criteria to select the field for hockey. ECAC doing pretty ugly-as expected. Lots of better teams.

If you do it where the 1st all get byes, then just do a play in on Thursday at the regionals and get rid of this off day.

NPI is the best you'll get unless every team plays each other, which we all know will never happen. Short of that, you'll have better teams and worse teams and whichever ones play well enough throughout the season to get in, deserve to be in and that's that
