sioux24/7 Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I am going to start this thing up again. Don’t worry, nothing to report from UND yet but it is inevitable someone will transfer. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted 10 hours ago Author Posted 10 hours ago If Uelmen ultimately does hit the portal, this is someone I would take a look at. NSIC Freshmen of the Year. Put up similarish #s to Greyson. Not quite as high of shooting %s. Better assist/TO ratio. Mankato East kid (BJ). Just throwing it out there. Quote

Just curious as I don't even know how I feel, if given a choice, would you take someone who did really well at the D2 level, or would you rather have someone who was at a higher level and wanting to play more? I guess it’s an interesting debate. I am not looking for someone that just rode the pine for 3 years at a higher level. I think there’s something to be said of someone that’s young at a lower level and put up numbers. Oral Roberts was littered with drop downs and we saw how that resulted. Obviously, there’s successes and failures both ways though. Quote

Our WBB team has some drop down this year, which did not end up well for us either. Quote

UNDDOM Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Odd timing, but former player Amar Kuljuvic with another year of eligibility I believe, has deleted all his Instagram photos but the UND ones and his profile is blank. 1 Quote

Long Snapper 92 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago @sioux24/7 is BJ coming back to UND even remotely an option or are you just wishful thinking/trying to speak it into existence? Quote

More me speaking it into existence. He’s had bad injury luck since he left and I know he enjoyed his time here. Still returns. Was here for homecoming, sat behind our bench when we played at UST. Probably not high odds of it happening but I don’t think it’s 0. 2 Quote
UND69er Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Players thinking portal should look at Eaglestaff. Talented kid. Watching WVU against BYU. He's not a factor. Decent numbers. 30 mins a game, but looks totally bored out there. What a waste his transfer was. I guess he made some $, but I think he should have stayed at UND. He'd have owned the Summit. Quote

It wasn’t just “some money” though. It was like 2 million dollars I believe, which you can’t fault anyone for taking. Quote

Yeah but he got a cool 1.5 mill and probably pick of any lady he wanted Quote
sioux24/7 Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago Yeah don’t blame Eaglestaff at all. Also, gave us 3 years and in today’s day, that is rare. 1 Quote

Well, if true he got that then good for him. but he sure hasn't earned it. 9 pts, 3 rebs and 30 mins avg. Hope he invested well because his career is over getting hammered by BYU tonite and he's the least athletic guy on the floor. Quote

There are a lot of guys going to work every day and are totally bored but are making closer to $50k than $1.5M. Quote
