Hambone Posted March 21 Posted March 21 UND offered out of high school but was one of Motherwells Michigan offers. Likely nothing there but had a really good offer list out of high school. Quote

How do you suppose Hutter's team went 26-3 in his last year as Mayville State head coach? Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Demers was effective if she got to her spot - trouble was she had trouble getting to her spot. Quote

UND92,96 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I think Demers had a pretty good career. A lot of people tend to forget that she skipped her senior year of high school to enroll early at USD, so she really should only be a junior right now. Her numbers improved every year, despite playing for three different head coaches in her last three years. 1 Quote

I think Demers had the potential to be much better. why do you think we had so many problems from the three point range? It’s like we have players who shot so well in high school and unlearned it at UND. We had the occasional player or two who shot well for a game from distance or so but no consistency? Quote

I don't know why that was, but to me it screams a lack of confidence, or some type of mental concern. Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Our posts, it appeared to me, never learned how to create some separation to get an open shot. They had one move that worked when they got to their spot but didn’t get to their spot and got a good pass consistently. They didn’t have a second move when their first move was stopped. They consistently lost the ball when they tried to dribble to their spot. The posts from ndsu and sdsu seemed more fluid and had good length and were able to adapt better to the defense. Just my humble opinions. I should add that I think our posts had the potential to be better - just never learned the footwork and I do think this could be taught and learned. 1 Quote

I didn’t notice she didn’t play much the last two games. She had some good moves at the post but again had to get to her spot. I didn’t look at her three point percentage but would assume it wasn’t stellar along with most of our players. Quote
