UND offered out of high school but was one of Motherwells Michigan offers.  Likely nothing there but had a really good offer list out of high school.

does this player look like a 5 out run around the 3 point line chuck up 3s at the first open look and get back on D offensive type player that hutter would use in his offense???

How do you suppose Hutter's team went 26-3 in his last year as Mayville State head coach?

i dont care what system he runs, he didnt know how to use his post last year, he wont use this one, had 6 7 on the bench couldnt find a minute for her, the four started the first 28 games she was the radio stations player of the game numerous times throughout the season, had a handful to maybe 10 double doubles throughout the season benched her the last 2 games, who benches a 28 game multi time double double starter, radio station player of the game numerous times, came close to averageing a double double on the season, only an idiot does that

Demers was effective if she got to her spot - trouble was she had trouble getting to her spot.

i agree and a true position coach and some player development coaching and more emphasis on strength and agility training and the right foods could have helped her with that, she was a bully type player who muscled her way around the paint in high school and and at USD imo, coaching and development and lack of support and encouragement she lost some of that at UND

I think Demers had a pretty good career. A lot of people tend to forget that she skipped her senior year of high school to enroll early at USD, so she really should only be a junior right now. Her numbers improved every year, despite playing for three different head coaches in her last three years.

I agree. I think Demers had the potential to be much better.
why do you think we had so many problems from the three point range? It’s like we have players who shot so well in high school and unlearned it at UND. We had the occasional player or two who shot well for a game from distance or so but no consistency?

I don't know why that was, but to me it screams a lack of confidence, or some type of mental concern.

i think you just said the word and that consistancy in everything, most d1 coaches know who their starters are by the time season starts, line up changed including reserves almost every game, inconsistent, most coaches do everything the same to a fault, routines, travel, who were mad at at practice or why no accountability, nothing this program did was consistant, 3 point shooting isnt gonna be consistant either, maybe its not that simple, but experince tells me your not gonna get the big things right like shooting the 3 close to 40 percent if you and the program your apart of isnt doing every little thing right, confidence in what your doing what mentally prepares you to make any shot not just a 3

Again here’s your chance to say what system you’d like to see them run. What would you do differently with the posts? How would you have generated better offense with this group. Go into detail. Don’t be shy

Our posts, it appeared to me, never learned how to create some separation to get an open shot. They had one move that worked when they got to their spot but didn’t get to their spot and got a good pass consistently. They didn’t have a second move when their first move was stopped. They consistently lost the ball when they tried to dribble to their spot. The posts from ndsu and sdsu seemed more fluid and had good length and were able to adapt better to the defense.
Just my humble opinions.

I should add that I think our posts had the potential to be better - just never learned the footwork and I do think this could be taught and learned.

one of our posts was consitantly a double double and was close to averaging one and stepped out to make the 3 and then was benched the last 2 games of the season

My focus would have been simple and easy, quit giving the opponents the ball for FREE 20+ times a game….

Great! You and the other 365 d1 coaches agree! Try not turn the ball over!

Assume you are talking about Ava miller. I didn’t notice she didn’t play much the last two games. She had some good moves at the post but again had to get to her spot. I didn’t look at her three point percentage but would assume it wasn’t stellar along with most of our players.
