And if youre honest with youself....if you put down Bubba, your putting down Schmidt...

 Schmidt is literally a Bubba protégé. Working under Bubba most of his career. Directly or indirectly.

Its baby steps into the era....small minded individuals say "Mussman sucked..."..."Bubba sucked"....

Just remember if you said those things your future will include the current coach too....eventually telling yourself  "Schmidt sucked..."

Chip and a chair baby. Maybe if they're playing with house money they aren't so tight and play with reckless abandon. If they do that they can definitely do some damage. 

But id have everyone associated with the program at the sports psychologist this week. They need to exorcise some mental demons

I would be happy with another game.  Team is frustrating but fun to watch and the team needs every game now to be better for the future. 

2nd half of the year Jerry is not the answer.. need first half of the year Jerry to return.  Romfo > (2nd half Jerry) 

defense will continue to get better in future years

man this game was hard to watch.. another game that should have been won. 
bubba coaching this team would have been 5-7.. maybe 4-8 

romfo also would have been 7-5 also or better. 

the crowd wasn’t nearly as dead as the haters on here would have you believe.

I thought there may be a chance Ziebarth played today.  IF there's a game next week, chance he plays?  It would give Jerry so much more confidence, I bet, having him as an option.  And with a confident Jerry, we can rattle some cages.

When I saw the formation for the first play in OT.....I was like....wtf are you kidding me....we are gonna run the RPO up the middle again with basically the same formation and play we've ran 25 times already today. Sure enough same damn play and we lose 4 yards. 

I like Fruechte generally speaking going into the year. Then we started off hot....9 different guys catching balls for the first 4-5 games. Then offense dropped off some.....I thought he had  chance to redeem himself the last few games and into the playoffs.  Well now because of him there likely are no playoffs.  

Feels like that is the only damn running play we have...RPO and hand off to SS or Jerry keeps it. Where is the mixing it up, TE over the middle etc.

Also, how many times now in huge situations did we have a 3rd or 4th and medium....or short.....and we throw a 20 yard down the sidelines pass. I know there are other guys in the pattern so some of that is on Jerry making the decision what receiver to throw to. But my god as the OC since we've F'd it up so many times....you think he would tell him to go to intermediate guy first unless its totally not there. 

I wasn't as ready to get rid of Fruechte as much as some were 4-5 weeks ago....but think I've now seen enough. 

Oh ya as I probably seem like a broken record....1st and goal inside the 5...how many times have we not gotten a TD there...so frustrating.

OC looks a lot better when the QB isn’t airmailing wide open receivers.. 

OC play calling was pretty baffling at times.. particularly inside the 5 yd line and other short yardage. 
 

difference between first half of the season Jerry and second half of the season Jerry was substantial.. I’m hoping we sneak into the playoffs and recover our mojo.

I'd love to get matched up with a Montana school in second round. Would give us a chance to completely reshape the season with a big upset.  That would take the offense figuring things out, which doesn't seem like the OC is able of doing at this point. 

I don't want to be done with UND football before Thanksgiving again.
