@Brim006 I don't see a pretty good WF team.  Their  record is terrible.  Minot being good is more a result of the West be down IMO.  And let's be honest, they should always be "good."  Last year, they were really good.  I don't foresee them beating the 3 or 4 seed in the State QTRS.     

As per @Wilbur post, I agree.  The reason they combined jerseys is to represent both schools.  They are in love with their Junior Gold program in Minot and use it as a "threat" against forming another team, it's a strange phenomenon up their with JG.

DL over GPR 4-2

BC over Jamestown 3-2

Minot over Williston 6-2

 

DL's Nelson is out for 6 weeks (5 remaining) for a minor, so he'll miss essentially the remainder of the regular season but will be back for post season play. Big loss for DL to lose their top scorer who plays well with Stromme.

Sad deal.  They've got a pretty good season going, and then to lose their top scorer.

Minot 5-3 over Williston (was 3-3 in the 3rd)

How dumb can these kids be.  Same thing with GFC boys best basketball player a few weeks ago.

Christmas break into new years is just a nerve wracking time as a coach.  The kids have way too much free time to do what kids do.

I was a plenty dumb mid 90s graduate lol.  we just hit the backwoods...a cabin, shop, etc.  Besides the boozing, which I don't support obviously, the biggest problem these kids face is they can't put their damn phones down and they essentially announce there's a party going on.

When I grew up I remember kids who won individual state titles having then stripped because they went out and drank the night of the state meet/tournament and got caught.

We had a kid who got knocked to the ice and a Century player jumped on him and hit him in the head 6/7 times and Feichtner was looking right at it. It was right in front of me as I always stand by the glass. Linesman finally comes in to break it up. Both players get 2 for roughing. I could not believe it. Century guy should have been booted and Jays on a 5 minute major power play. They missed a bunch and I hate getting on refs asses but it was bad

I think we may have seen the true GFC tonight.  Sheyenne has beaten some good teams and Central all over them 10-1.  Deziel and Marto with pretty good games.  

Across town RR all over North 12-1.

Shanley beats WFHS in OT 4-3

Bismarck High beats Dickinson 4-2.

Legacy gets 6 points over Hazen.

That ref should be fired and not allowed to ever ref again. Otherwise, you might as well adopt Roman Gladiator rules.

I believe not.  Per Gillen's site last night was a 6 point game between Legacy and H/B.

Earlier this year Century's JV played H/B for points and the game ended up being an OT game where Century lost points in the WDA.  I don't think there are any this year in the EDC.  Its such a gamble to play a six pointer, and can just destroy your standings if things go the wrong way.

I was just curious as RRs win over Grafton was a 3 point game and they only play once this year.
