I think this is how it is going to go. Maybe Javance will figure it out later in season to take over, but as of now I think it’s Jerry’s time to shine!

Apparently the players were told today of the starting Qb with it publicly going out  on Monday.  Roll the dice between Jerry and Simon, maybe see both.

I think after last season there was a certain feeling to just do something.  Anything.  I'm still hoping in the long run it pays off but it's certainly feeling like a desperation bid and see what happens.  At this point you have to trust the process.

Don’t mind it at all if true. Jerry will get majority of snaps. Can still use JTJ and his athleticism. Maybe he can perfect the QB sneak like Q did.

if you have 2 qb's you don't have 1.....jerry or javance don't need a different qb to run...they can both run just fine (even better than simon "carl lewis" romfo...seems like a way to keep simon from falling all the way to qb3 or qb4

I am pretty sure both xDSU’s have had packages for Cole Payton and Chase Mason the last couple years. Heck I think USD might have done it a bit too.

If Jerry wins the job but JTJ has more NIL money, how will that work/look?

We aren't asking to air it out for 305 every game just efficient enough passing to effectively assist the running game to average 250 yards a game. I don't give a hoot between Jerry and JTJ as long a Simon is only used as a scat back and nothing more. If it is Simon we have some real issues with recruiting qbs, I understand he was a Bubbaball recruit and it can take a few years to get the new coaches "guys" here and rolling but I don't know if UND has a few years to wait. I just hope we can get atleast Tommy "the goat" Schuster level of play with a bit more deep ball action.

i guess the problem or hiccup i have is...when you do the 2 qb thingy it's normally qb1 and qb2....BUT at UND QB3 is technically QB2?

it's jerry and jtj time ....BUT Simon is qb2 or "the backup"....

Also add in the walk-ons that play ahead of scholarship players.  It's a bigger hill to climb but does happen all the time.

I think Simon is more the "holy !@#$ these other qbs really suck, cant be any worse then it was last year qb", then an actual qb2.
