While it's always disappointing to see a program get dropped, Mercyhurst is mentioned in the same breath as St Cloud in terms of institutions that may not be around much longer.

Carle will tell Vegas "NO". Golden Knights fire their coaches if things don't go moderately well for an extended stretch. Carle wants stability, which he will continue to have at Denver, he doesn't want to take his kids in and out of schools every 3-5 years

Pierre McGuire's alma mater. And I'm not even sure if they'd have the funding to move hockey to D1.

Regarding Mercyhurst, were we supposed to play them at their rink next year (home and home because we played them at Ralph this year)?

And if so, any ideas who we could replace them with?

I think it was a single series 

If there was a return, replace with Maryville at home of play them at Lindenwood
