A little surprised both teams didn't try and move game 1 to Thursday night to give some recovery time. Playing on minimal rest outdoors in 0 degree temps isn't exactly ideal. Quote

Really hoping that Latkoczy can play out of his mind and get UNO some points from WMU. Doubt it will happen, but we can hope. The bottom 5 of the NCHC is really tight. Playoff seedings might be a complete mystery until that last weekend is done. Quote

As much as Brad and others keep setting up, moving, setting up again, and moving again of the goal posts to make a point. Hard to argue that the CHL is the best way to be a 1st round pick and make it to the NHL. Now those players have a new option that wasn't there, so these arguments are moot until these CHL players go the NCAA route and have greater success than the previous years. Quote
