Wasn't ready for the NCAA. Until you really produce in junior or have a super adaptable/Swiss Army knife style, you're not ready for the NCAA (at least 90% of the time).

Still wild to me how much Boston University has underachieved/disappointed so far this season. Hutson the only one above a point per game, Eiserman and Boisvert well below where I thought they'd be and Yegorov well below average in net.

Read an article from a BU insider about a month ago, in which Pandolfo was at wit's end with his team's effort, especially his forwards. Goes to prove that a stacked roster doesn't always translate if the chemistry or identity is lacking. 

Losing Willander at D after his sophomore season last year was maybe the biggest blow, he was an exceptional first-line D who ate up a lot of minutes; similar to Livanavage but maybe more impactful.

Eiserman looked brutal at the WJC for the most part. Turnovers, ineffective at puck battles, just seems to have little confidence going right now.

Interesting that he's even younger than Verhoeff by 1.5 mos. (17)

They're still able to make an at-large, but with their NPI sitting at #19 (9-8-1) with 16 (mostly) conference games remaining, they cannot afford any bad losses to teams below them.

They are in a very similar situation as UND last year. UND was pretty good down the stretch but jumping 10-12 spots in the NPI will be tough when hockey east isn’t very good. They’ll have to win at least 75% of their remaining games, probably more.

For as good as Tynan Lawrence seems to be they're gona need alot of players to up their game compared to what they did in the 1st half of the year.

Granted picking up a player like him might help team morale.
