He has built his record on the back of weak programs for years.  Refused to play NDSU again. Going to be interesting if he is

still there when UND plays them.

No way is NDSU making the CFP.   They will most likely win the conference which isn't a bad accomplishment in their first year but that's all that's happening.   My money is on Memphis being the G6 team in the playoffs.  Sadly I expect the Bison will help improve the MWC by forcing other teams to get better just like they and SDSU did when they joined the MVFC 20? years ago.   That said, no MWC team is making the CFP in a long long time.

Not sure why it would be a long long time. It's not like its the best G6 conference's champion gets selected. Its the best G6 champion. If there is a year where NDSU or Hawaii or UNLV or whomever ran the table and looked good doing it, they'd be sitting very well to get picked.

If you’ve watched Sagarin or Massey the last few seasons you know the top of the MVFC or BSC and these MWC remnants are quite comparable.

The risk of it being a long time is because these schools will continue to be JV teams for the schools out west and in a consistent rebuild cycle.  They have shown this year the conference is not competitive and is a long way from it.  SOS will not be in anyone’s favor.

Too many like Wyoming and UTEP at the bottom.   As I said earlier I'm sure NDSU will make the rest of the conference improve but I doubt they get to the level of the American.  It's hard to be the best G6 school when you're playing in a weaker conference.

It kind of looks like NDSU paid $19+ million  to go to MVFC west.  I expect them to win the MWC, but for what benefit? Toilet bowl in Detroit or worse?
