BSU beats UMN, 3-1

That’s a huge win. Also MN’s first loss in regulation. And that OT loss they outshot Omaha like 52-16 and got hot goalie’d. Helps us that bemidji snagged one so hopefully we can at least get a win and tie against the beavs

Just looked at the box score for MN and bemidji and MN got hot goalie’d tonight, too. I feel so bad for them….:silly::D

We made Cornell look like a frozen 4 team. Now they have gone 1-1-2 since we played them in a span I figured they’d go 4-0

I was thinking the same thing after seeing the scores.  BU looks pretty mediocre too.  This has all the makings of a .500 season for North Dakota.

As frustrating as things have been so far, I really think this team is going to reach another level. This feels like a Hak-type season in that we stumble in the first half and have a really good second half if we can get healthy. Now does Hak-like mean that we get to the frozen 4? Probably not because one line or group of players is taking the reins offensively but I think this team makes the tourney and doesn’t waste the Fargo regional again.

Going 0-1 at the X followed by 0-1 at Scheels Arena a week later won’t be a cause for celebration in Grand Forks next opening night…

Bemidji State University coach Tom Serratore set the Great Canadian arms race in motion, signing two Western Hockey League stars to college commitments.

Joining the Beavers next season are forward Brady Bernie of the Swift Current Broncos and goaltender Max Hildebrand of the Prince Albert Raiders.
