Mars Space Suit

I was reading a piece on The Verge about laptops versus note taking and a Youtube video near the bottom of the page with someone in a space suit with a UND logo on it caught my eye.

It was mentioned in a recent issue of the Smithsonian Air and Space magazine as well.

I notice the lack of the hawk-in-ND logo on the advertisement there.

Are you talking about the academic logo on the suits?

Using the Athletics mark outside of Athletics is not allowed; they used the correct mark namely the academics mark. See page 2.

C'mon, it's for the unforgiving tundra and unbearable cold of Mars.
Then again, it is getting to be December in North Dakota.

Reminds me of when MTV came to UND in 2000 (or thereabouts)  and filmed a segment for the show "Senseless Acts of Video."
