Hopefully they can pick a solid new President who can unite the campus and continue moving forward on some of the good things Kennedy started. Fair and resonable sentiment. I agree. We should all agree, on this at least. Quote

The board also allowed institutions to accept unofficial copies of high school and college transcripts for admission. The waivers will be in place through the summer of 2022. Quote
WiSioux Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 Okay I will admit that I haven't read the article but I have a question. I read a headline that MN schools (or some of them? Whatever) aren't requiring SAT/ACT scores anymore... So what is used to determine who to admit? Does anyone who applies get in? I don't get it. Quote

That may have been about St. Thomas? Not sure I saw anything on the other schools in mn, but I'm probably wrong. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted July 1, 2020 Posted July 1, 2020 U of M, Moorhead, Duluth and I think SCSU have gone that route. Quote

My guess will be an emphasis on GPAs. I'm sure they can find other things during registration to help for student placement in terms of math, English, etc. Quote

The 5 campuses of the U of M are dropping the act/sat requirements. For a more well rounded student. Quote
