Feel free to send Ryan Powell an email if you're SO concerned about this "minor, petty" detail. Again, it's the Christmas holidays. A small window before UND Athletics hit the meat of their teams schedules. Imagine that Ryan and Jayson might be spending some quality time with their families before their lives get crazy. . The same thing happened more than once with football. While it is true that neither football or basketball are Hajdu's job directly, he does oversee media relations which includes UNDSports.com, so someone under his direction isn't doing their job, which makes it partially his problem. From a rational prioritizing standpoint, the areas of most need should always be addressed first. Right now, considering common logic models and the amount of potential being ignored, UND football and basketball should be the focus areas,. Remember, UND men's hockey is already "maxed out" ($100 M arena, top of the line Reebok uniforms and equipment, great support, ongoing winning tradition, etc.). Unfortunately, UND athletics continues to over-emphasize hockey at the expense of the main sports that every other regional athletic department does emphasize.
