SWSiouxMN Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 UND hits some big free throws down the stretch to get their 3rd straight win in Bozeman. Now they look to pull a rare sweep of the Montana Schools in the treasure state. Montana will brining a different set of challenges, especially with their big guy. Rebounding is suspect at times with the Griz. They put up a lot of 3's against UNC (11/31) and pretty much dominated the Bears. This will be a tougher matchup and the Griz are one of those team you can't quite figure out if they are going to challenge for the title or be a middle of the road team. UND needs to shore up the turnovers and be efficient with the ball on offense. Hoping they can build off the MSU performance and go from there. They have to figure out how to slow down Gregory and Breunig. All time series record since UND has moved to the Big Sky: 1-3, 0-2 in Montana THIS would be a big win if they can get it. Other Games: UNC (0-1) @ MSU (0-1) ISU (0-1) @ EWU (1-0) WEB (0-1) @ Idaho (1-0) SUU (0-1) @ SAC (1-0) NAU (0-1) @ PSU (1-0) Quote

SiouxFan100 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 What are we trying to do on offense other than pass the ball around the perimeter??? Quote
Cratter Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 What are we trying to do on offense other than pass the ball around the perimeter??? Always been my pet peeve about Jones coached basketball. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 We gave up another lay up on an inbounds play under our basket. Wow - again high schools don't allow that to happen. Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Down 21 to 12 with about 9 minutes to go Quote
jdub27 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 UND cuts it to 3 with 3 minutes left in the half. Quote
jdub27 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 35-29 at half after Montana hits a 3 with 6 seconds left. Turnovers are 9 for each team. Montana shooting 52%. UND's given up 3 offensive boards. 8-13 from the line. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted January 4, 2015 Author Posted January 4, 2015 gave one up at the half 35-29 Montana. Anyone care to give a quick synopsis of what I have missed so far? Quote
Dagger Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 It seems like we always start halves and end halves poorly. That is a bad stat. We really are weak at the post to top it off. Quote
Cratter Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 It seems like we always start halves and end halves poorly. And the entire second half. If my math is correct, against division I opponents UND is (-15) in first halves, and (-124) in second halves. Quote
