The Sicatoka
I've already asked a few folks this simple question; so, for the rest (and I know the NDSU lurkers are still here): What will the total number of regular season plus playoff wins be for the *combination* of UND and NDSU this season? More specifically, will it be OVER or UNDER 14.5? If you reply, please start the reply with "OVER" or "UNDER" and then give your reasoning from there. Under, NDSU will finish with 7 wins with zero in the playoffs and UND will have 5 wins.
Hawkster
It has to be over. I'll give the Bison credit that they have enough wins to make the playoffs and probably get a win there too, and I see us getting nothing less then 5 wins, so it's over. The Sicatoka
I'm struggling ... but I'm going against the grain: UNDER. I can see NDSU 10-2 and one playoff win: 11 (maybe just 10 if it's 9-3). But now I need UND at 4 or 5 wins. OK. Reasonable. Really easy in that to say "over". But then I start to see, new coaching staffs, new personnel, and think about how one slip-up or key injury (UND or NDSU) and it's back "under" that fast. NDSU grad
Over. NDSU at 12 or 13 and I see 5-6 wins on UND's schedule.
Oxbow6
Under...SU will get to 9 regular season wins...and tack on a playoff win. I can't see 5 sure fire wins on UND's schedule. That makes 14...under.
RollTribe
Over, I agree with Oxbow6 on NDSU winning 9, plus a playoff win, but I think UND can win 4 games on their schedule, and for some reason I am feeling an upset somewhere in that schedule for a total of 5 wins (15 combined),
UND-FB-FAN
NDSU 9-3 UND 5-7 9+5 = 14; so, I guess I go UNDER 14.
The Sicatoka
I'm surprised only one NDSU fan has chimed in so far. I'd think they'd be lining up to pick the over (on their own).
BisonMav
Izzo predicted 10-2 and 3-9. If the Bison get home field with that record, They could win a couple, depending on when they would play a team like UNI or EWU. I'm not sure I see a 10-2 record though, and take the under. The Sicatoka
If you picked "over", you won.
UNDBIZ
Over. NDSU at 12 or 13 and I see 5-6 wins on UND's schedule. Looks like a good call.
UND-FB-FAN
NDSU 9-3 UND 5-7 9+5 = 14; so, I guess I go UNDER 14.5 NDSU was a lot better this year than I thought. Have to give that program credit; they know how to win and recruit/develop players. I was right about UND, and they're on pace for a winning football club in 2015. NDSU grad
Looks like a good call. When I originally posted that I was thinking a 10-2 regular season with a semi-final or national championship game appearance. At this point I hope I under-estimated the win total. I didn't really watch many of your games this year, but from the sounds of things you guys were what I thought you'd be. Some good wins, 'good' losses, some wtf moments, and overall a marked improvement from the last few years.
Hayduke
I figured UND would win 5 games. I also thought FU would run the table. The College of Home Economics disappoints again....

That's a pretty good assessment (even if you're an NDSU guy ).
