MafiaMan
Why exactly are these games in Chicago? They couldn't find another outdoor venue in a state one of these teams was actually from? The 2013 games there were Miami vs Notre Dame and Minnesota vs Wisconsin. What's the over/under on attendance for this game, 2,500?
MafiaMan
Holy buckets did that linesman get smoked on that check. Ouch!
MafiaMan
Not from today's game, obviously, but pics of the Western Michigan jerseys. You can tell these were special event jerseys - note the absence of the NCHC patch.

cberkas
Looks like the grades are in! Miami: Adidas can stop with the 3-stripe look on everything. Their name is already on the front anyways. Front M logo almost invisible from a distance. "The Brotherhood" on the sleeve is something different and a nice touch. However, the state of Ohio on the back with the M over it (above the nameplate) and some sort of slogan inside the collar make this jersey quite busy. Looks like Wisconsin from the back. Grade: C- Western Michigan: I love the vintage color and the script "Broncos." The tiny "Western Michigan" where "Reebok" usually is located is sweet as well. Shoulder yoke, stripes, number on the front below the script but slightly off-center. Somebody did their homework on these beauties. Grade: A+ The State of Ohio is not easy to see on the back. I don't see where "The Brotherhood" is at on the arm.

MafiaMan
I don't see where "The Brotherhood" is at on the arm. "Love + Honor" were the words inside the collar. "The Brotherhood" was on the arm inside the Adidas, er, sleeve striping on the right sleeve.

MafiaMan
You can't even see it during the game. Reminds me of the stupid sublimated iconic school symbols pit onto the back of college basketball jerseys these days...zero point to having that stuff on there. And the inside collar? REALLY? That makes you play better?

cberkas
Wilcox channeling his inner Jeff Frazee on that one! I like how they said Minnesota is playing the lively boards well, wait a minute didn't Ohio State just score off those lively boards? brianvf
Speaking of awful, those Miami jerseys are hideous, and when combined with those horrible socks...ouch. Simply horrendous. Also, remember when Harvard was threatening for a #1 seed? They're in a mega-freefall right now. After starting the season 10-1-2, they are now 12-8-2...so they've gone 2-7 over their last nine games. They are down to #15t in the Pairwise. Ouch.
