Dustin Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 I was not able to make the game tonight, but on the webstream they looked a dominating team on a mission. Very fun to see. Quote

Smoggy Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I can't find out the tiebreaker procedure if teams split the regular season. Anybody know? It goes by how many sets won. For instance UND loses the tiebreaker against UNC because UNC won in 3 and we won in 4. Quote

She hit over 700 against Montana. Anything approaching 400 would be welcome vs Idaho and EWU. Hard to hit for power if you have nagging shoulder problems. We are a different team if Pioske and Robinson are hitting with power. Quote
SiouxVolley Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Sweep of Montana tonight. 1268 fans there for senior night. Gives average of 1038 and team finishes 11-1 at home. We should make top 50 in attendance this year too. And that came without having any blowout attendance games like against NDSU. Can't seem to find the 2013 top 50, but we should be striving to another UNI, Wichita St, or Creighton in attendance and performance. http://www.uwbadgers.com/sports/w-volley/spec-rel/011414aaa.html Quote

The NDSU home game probably explains most of that difference. Quote

I don't really see any distinct advantage of being the 2 seed over the 3 seed, with one exception: As a two seed, the quarter final game is the first one on Thursday. So we could win that one, and have all day to scout what the other teams are doing. (The 3 seed game is the second, which is not bad either). Dropping to 4 or 5 would not be good. There's really only 5 good teams this year in the Big Sky, and I don't want to play one of the other good teams in the quarterfinals, then (most likely) have to face Idaho State in the semifinals. SWSiouxMN Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 In set 1 Idaho leads 18-17 in other games PSU up 16-13 in set 1 UNC up 1-0 over EWU, tied 14-14 in 2nd set Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 UND is rolling along in set 2. 18-12 TO Idaho Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 UND rolled right along and took set 2. Other than a little hiccup in the middle of set 1, they have look awesome tonight. Quote
nodak651 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Idaho's production sucks. Funny they think they are better than other big sky schools. Quote
UND Fan Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Agree - they have looked very good so far! Quote
SiouxVolley Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 UND rolled right along and took set 2. Other than a little hiccup in the middle of set 1, they have look awesome tonight. Pioske continues to be totally on like in the Montana matches. The team is different if she is on. Dooley seems to be neutralized by the Idaho bigs, but the reverse is true too. Moser is hitting ,500 and Pioske is over ,600 Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Montana has force a 5th set against ISU EWU up in set 3 15-13, but down 2-0 to UNC NAU up 21-12 in Set up, but down 1-0 to Sac State Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 EWU forces a set 4 against UNC, UNC still leads 2-1 Idaho up in set 3, 17-15. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 ISU avoids the upset in Missoula. They win 3-2 to take the crown outright. Griz wait to see the results from other games to see if they clinch their spot or not tonight Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Idaho has gotten it to set point, but UND has fought it off so far. 24-21 Idaho. TO Idaho Quote
SiouxVolley Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Idaho was up 24-18 before UND went on a three pt run. We shouldn't boast about how the team is playing until the game is over. Set to Idaho, Quote
