Sioux_Hab-it
Why is that regardless of the league restructure UND is stuck with substandard officiating. Even the ECAC hired an ex NHL official Stewart as their Referee in Chief and Kerry Fraser attends ECAC games and offers advice to their officials in between periods per the article at the link: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=444799

Snake
I'm pretty sure we're not the only fan base that thinks the officials in their respective league are substandard.
siouxweet
funny thing is I watched the Beanpot title game a few weeks ago with BC and Northeastern and with Hockey East refs mind you everything was being let go including tackling. whereas UND has gotten called for everything whenever they have played with Hockey East refs officiating. siouxforeverbaby
Are you serious? They took both Shepherd's!!? how did you not know this? Brad had a list last August. That is where I got this. If I remember correctly, the Sheps are half NCHC/half WCHA.
Sioux_Hab-it
Because they made Don Adam the head of officiating. My original point was that a new league presented a new opportunity to get it right. So why would pick a guy whose most memorable game quote was "I make it up as I go" . Snake
It's really of no consequence because the games that really matter are officiated by refs from the other leagues.
sprig
So why would pick a guy whose most memorable game quote was "I make it up as I go" . The positive I see is it got him off the ice, which makes officiating one person better at least.
