geaux_sioux Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 how many FBS drop downs will we get this year? we need quite a few in my opinion, especially on the offensive side. No way to predict that. Let's hope we can get some like Hinojosa who have more than one year and just want a chance to prove themself. He's been a great addition as has Tillman. 1 Quote

Hambone Posted November 13, 2014 Author Posted November 13, 2014 Based on a tweet I saw from about 10 days ago that I originally missed, it appears that UND has an offer out to San Diego RB Tyree Range. He decommitted from the Griz in October. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/435776/tyree-range https://rivals.yahoo.com/footballrecruiting/football/recruiting/player-Tyree-Range-168312 1 Quote

After watching this season, I'm confident Bubba can mold together a top defense with local recruits, but UND may need to recruit a little farther out for some offensive skill players. Quote

We don't need more players who can't make up their minds and will cut and run the minute they don't like something. Proceed with great caution here my friend. Quote

We don't need more players who can't make up their minds and will cut and run the minute they don't like something. Proceed with great caution here my friend. Don't read anything into this. Too many schools pressure these kids to commit early and tell them everyone wants to go there cuz they are so good. They tell them they can't hold the scholarship so they need to commit on the spot. Kids may not have made all of their visits yet. Kid may have had interest from other schools and reconsidered. Kid hasn't signed yet so maybe wants to be honest about his interest elsewhere. When I was involved with recruiting we told kids to make their other visits and if they had a better choice then that is where they should go. I don't think we lost kids because of that. Quote
nodakhoops Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 If you are going to or watching the Dakota Bowl tomorrow here are some guys to watch. Not sure of UND’s interest level, but these guys are ones to watch. Guessing UNDs staff will be there watching. AAA Game Minot - Sr. LB Zach Danelson, Sr. RB/LB/S Alex Mack, Jr. LB/RB Matthew Marler & Jr. QB. Ben Bolinske Davies - Sr. QB Aidan Hartness (Not a D1 QB in college but maybe another position) Sr. WR Tristan Hartness AA Game Shanley - Sr. RB Tre Fort & S. RB /DB Danny Stasch St. Marys - Sr. LB Noah Krebs & Sr. LB Jacob Schwab Love Kreb’s highlight tape http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3058506/highlights/63287751 (Reminds me of Reinecke, right place kind of guy) The highlight tackle in the Dome won State last year. A Game Park River - Jr. WR Levi Cudmore Killdeer - Sr. RB/DB Lewis Dobitz 9 man Cavalier - Sr. RB/LB Brock Robbins (NDSU commit) & Sr. DL Jeff Stith Shiloh - Have a some nice RBs, but forgot their names, and didn’t feel like looking them up. Probably some i’m missing, but I thought i’d share for everyone so you had guys to keep an eye on. Quote

jjensen Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Maybe Johnson runs a 3.9 40? Found his hudl and he claims on there 5'8" 170. NDSCS roster is then 5'6". Doesn't look like a D1 player to me. Also claims a 4.52. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/1366340/shelly-johnson-iii Quote
UND Fan Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Ben Ellefson, the TE from Hawley who committed to the Bison, received an offer from Purdue today. I wonder if he will give it serious consideration. Quote
Ozzie82 Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Ben Ellefson, the TE from Hawley who committed to the Bison, received an offer from Purdue today. I wonder if he will give it serious consideration. He would have to seriously consider it. I think most everyone would, even someone who grew up rooting for the Bison. It's the Big Ten... that's a whole different ballgame, even if it's Purdue (who in fairness has shown some improvement this year). Quote

jjensen Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 I came across a name from Minot will try to find the name again. How's Karter Gorney looked I think #84? Quote
