UNDBIZ Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 After his blazing start to the season Troy Huff is currently #6 nationally in scoring at 29 ppg. He's also the only player in the top 40 who's averaging more point than minutes played. National Scoring Leaders I think our depth has been great this year, as it gives Huff and the others a chance to rest and then come out and play against the opponent's tired starters. Huff's shooting has been great this year. 1 or 2 questionable 3s last night, but for the most part he looked good. The new officiating rules really benefit our team as we are composed primarily of players who drive to the basket. Quote
bincitysioux Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Huff Hopes to Make Statement Competing in Portsmouth Invitational Tournament Huff has accepted an invitation to play in next month’s Portsmouth Invitational Tournament, an event that showcases the country’s top 64 collegiate seniors in front of scouts and executives from all 32 NBA teams. This will be the 62nd annual PIT and it also marks the second time that UND has had a player participate in the event. In 2003, former UND standout Jerome Beasley was at the PIT. He was named the tournament MVP and later was drafted in the second round by the Miami Heat. Congrats Troy and Good Luck! He was also named to the Lou Henson Mid-Major All America team this week. sioux24/7 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Any news on if he will be playing in the Summer League with a team? Quote
jdub27 Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Has anyone heard anything? The early portion of the summer league started Saturday and goes through Friday. The later and larger portion runs the 11th-21st. Would assume that Troy would be playing but haven't come across any announcements of him joining a team. Quote

sioux24/7 Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Good for Troy. I was hoping he would get an opportunity to participate in a teams summer league but I am sure he will get opportunities in the future. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 1, 2015 Posted November 1, 2015 Speaking of Troy, its been a while since we have heard from him, he was drafted to the Erie BayHawks, the Orlando Magic affiliate of the NBA D-league. He plays on the same team as Tyler Harvey. Something to watch for throughout the NBA season in case he gets a 10 day contract with Orlando. Quote
