redwing77
We better not make fun of hogs or our offensive line will start plowing through us. Awwwwwwwwwwww.... True, but I can't resist asking: Is the Head coach of that team known as Boss Hog? Seriously though, I've always been a fan of interesting mascots. My fave is the Terps of Maryland. UNA
Can you name the 7 DI schools whose mascot is singular or does not contain an (s)?
jimdahl
Can you name the 7 DI schools whose mascot is singular or does not contain an (s)? Without looking any up, Cardinal, Orangemen, Crimson Tide, and Illini came to mind as names that don't end in 's'. If the question means that it can neither contain an 's' nor be plural, I guess that would strike Illini, Orangemen, and Crimson Tide, leaving me with a paltry one. If Crimson Tide flies, so would Crimson.
UNA
Does not contain an "s". Crimson tide and Illini are

UNA
Are they classified as DI programs? And if so they runs the number of 7 that I have heard associated with this great late night brain teaser.
Shawn-O
Are they classified as DI programs? Around these parts, most certainly!
UNA
Well then there are more than 7. But we are still missing a few.
bisonguy
Can you name the 7 DI schools whose mascot is singular or does not contain an (s)? Here's some more(I-AA's included): William and Mary Tribe Alabama Crimson Tide Dartmouth Big Green Cornell Big Red Elon Phoenix Hofstra Pride Howard Bison Marshall Thundering Herd NC State Wolfpack Navy Midshipmen Nevada Wolfpack Notre Dame Fighting Irish Tulane Green Wave Tulsa Golden Hurricane UMass Minutemen

bisonguy
UMASS does not play DI football. You stated DI. I-AA is DI, as is I-A. William and Mary, Elon, Hofstra, Dartmouth, Cornell, Howard, and UMass are all I-AA.
bisonguy
If you want I-A teams, so far the teams mentioned are Crimson Tide, Illini, Orangemen, Cardinal, Thundering Herd, Wolfpack (two schools), Midshipmen, Fighting Irish, Green Wave, and Hurricane. That's ten.
PCM
What does that mean for the visiting Lions? Bowenkamp is normally the starter. When he's "on," few are better at dissecting a defense. In Stattelman, Ahlers and Lueck, he has the receivers to do it.
teamsioux
And when he's off(Bowenkamp), he is BAD!! Can at times have the most inaccurate passes one would see at this level of competition. Has a tendency to misread coverage and force things. But as PCM said, when he is "on", the Sioux passing game is almost unstoppable.

Yeah, just north of the Alerus Center on 42nd Street. You have to cross University Ave. At the corner of 42nd Street and 6th Ave. N, there is a liquor store called Campus Liquors.
