hrkac Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I'll take a stab... guys that were drafted in either round #1 or #2 that never won a National Title...? Quote
jk Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I guessed first, then checked, and it's INCH's list of the top forward recruits for this year's group of seniors. #19 on the list is having a big senior year. Quote
Siouxfan_inDenver Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 I'll take a stab... guys that were drafted in either round #1 or #2 that never won a National Title...? Thought Bozak was a free agent when he left DU. Quote

Wow that was quick. Correct. Our favorite fan site to pick on rated these 18 ahead of Matt Frattin (and Miele, Malone, and Trupp). I just had to bring this up after their Yale obsession. Yes, INCH, they were that overrated... Quote

ChadR Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Lot of blue chip names that never won a title. No. Colin Wilson won one with BU Its INCH Top 20 Freshman from 2007. Mr Frattin is #19 Quote
dagies Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Some of those guys were pretty good players. Not like all of them are flops. Quote
siouxforce19 Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Some of those guys were pretty good players. Not like all of them are flops. Agreed. A lot of them are good players that didn't win anything in college and some moved on successfully to the NHL level. Quote

Mr Frattin is #19 I am just saying that there are a lot of players in the 18 names that never one a title... What part of the statement isn't true? Lot of blue chip names that never won a title. SiouxFanatic Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 Wow, looking at that list and seeing Patrick White at #9...and seeing how his career went with Minnesota makes me ponder why Vancouver picked him up with their 1st round draft pick. Quote

Many people questioned this. I think it is rather unfortunate. He was dynamic in juniors. As for the list... who is Scott Freeman? Helfrich? Oh nevermind. They both went to the ECACHL. Guess that's why I never heard of them. Cory Tropp made a name for himself.... in a rather negative manner. Quote

How can you judge Pat White being dynamic in juniors when he only played 12 games? Yes, he may have had 9 points in 12 games but that isn't a lot of time to judge a player. I think he would've benefited playing juniors for a full season or two to get accustomed to the faster pace of hockey. He was an overrated player with a good wrist shot, probably the reason the Canucks traded him to the Sharks. Quote
